Bears 2024: 5.0 It's Caleb Williams time

We needed an upgrade from Gil but 4th seems expensive. I think most people expected a handful of FA punters competing in camp. Its a position of need imo but I dunno... feel like the trade PHi made with HOU for 123 would have been perfect for Bears to do.

Brad Briggs was touting Taylor in the days leading up to today. He was very high on him. He gets a lot of punts downed inside the 10 yard line with a unique spin he puts on the ball.

unless this team is planning on punting the ball a LOT from inside their own 40 over the next few years, this pick is preposterous

and if THIS offense is punting the ball a lot from inside their own 40...all hope is lost

expect a regression on defense from the latter half of last season, folks. as w/ the 2018 team, the TO generation is simply unsustainable

Tory Taylor is 6' 4" and 223 pounds. If the Bears don't need to punt very often because we have a great offense then we can play him as a 3rd TE.
