Agree with the Caruso insight. Looks like the refs are allowing more leeway on defense in the playoffs. Caruso would for sure have made a big impact

Great battle between Clips and Mavs. Kyrie and Harden/PG put on a show. Doncic was rough from the field, 10-24 FG 1-9 from three.

That Knick Sixers game was crazy. Basically, Philly let Brunson beat them by himself.

That was a throw back of Iverson Sixers where everyone else was just there for defense and rebounding lol

That Jalen Brunson fellow is pretty good.

IMO, AK is hoping to luck into a Brunson to save his job. I'm on record wanting him (and Hartenstein) as FA's. Giving credit to the Knicks for also bringing in Hart, OG and Vinnie D. If there is a way we can nab Precious or Hartenstein, that would be huge.

Players are just gassed and it's just the 1st round. Embiid looked like a 50 year old at the Y on this play.

Makes you appreciate more those older era players like Jordan who averaged 42 mpg in the playoffs.

Luka today:
10-24 FG
1-9 3pt FG

Not much to criticize about Luka, he's amazing but that is my pet peeve with him. He falls in love with the 3-pt shot and bails out the other team with some of those step back 3's. Dribbles the clock down and then crappy step back 3.

Honestly, for me, I really dislike watching him play. Yeah, he makes really amazing plays, and he is an extremely skillful player, but like Harden, I've just never enjoyed watching him play. To add, just his mannerisms and reactions to bad calls just put me off watching a lot of his games.

Gotta love how the Sixers/Embiid talked smack before the series even started, whereas the Knicks for the most part have stayed quiet and just played ball.

The results speak for themselves.

I wonder if there were any trade offers for Caruso at the deadline and, if so, what they were. Obviously he's more valuable to a team for two playoffs than one, but I get the impression that AK didn't even listen to any offers for him because the idea was to make the playoffs.

It must feel nice to have a young roster doing well in the playoffs.

The Wolves are fun to watch, I'm really curious to see what they do with their massive salary situation.

The Bradley Beal trade didn't make sense for the Suns when it happened, and it's just looking worse and worse by the day.

So many of those espn talking heads were so damn high on the Suns as soon as the Beal trade was made. Including the great Kendrick Perkins.

Even the KD one sucked if you ask me.

Traded all your foreseeable draft picks and two young players for these guys. Team has no assets outside of the only guy that showed up tonight.

Way to make a splash Mr new Billionaire owner.

At least with KD you could justify it by the fact that he is an all-time great player. Beal was solid starter at best, who happens to play the same position as their second best player. It was just a stupid trade that made zero sense on the court, and even less sense because they effectively stripped away any remaining depth from their roster. It was a KG and Paul Pierce trade the Nets made all over again.

I thought Anthony Edwards would be a solid NBA player, but I never thought he would be THIS good. I take him over Luka, because he plays both ends, and isn't a whining little (fill in the blank). And like the greats, he always seems to play better in the playoffs.
