Damn, I know he's actually a Newhead here, but DDR has a tremendous sitdown with Draymond Green.

How about this one? 18 year old Andres Nocioni dunks on Kevin Garnett in the olympics.

Something called "No Referees" and from Jan 2020

I love the player interviews, esp these off the cuff ones that really let them talk.

Here’s some very recent Nocioni stuff I found browsing YouTube. Let us know if you can highlight any cool points! He seems to be super active, this stuff is just the first stuff I could find.

It's actually just a condensed version of his interview with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson.

Great stuff. Still comes across as a bit bitter, but also wanting to hold up all his teammates. Definitely not seemingly so bourboned up.

Joakim Noah shows up again, this time on Stacey King’s podcast.

Really highlights how close those 2010s teams were. I think Noah is a great interviewee. Interesting to hear how Brad Miller acted as kind of an Obi Wan figure to Noah early on teaching him passing angles which he in turn learned from Vlade Divac.

Kind of an unexpected long form AMA with Will Purdue and Kendall Gill, highlights to me were that Will Purdue really disliked Phil Jackson as a coach and Doug Collins previous to that, and absolutely loves Greg Popovich.

Not 100% certain but I believe that’s just his cohost.

Sorry to bump this old old thread, but it's summertime. I was bored and I found this; I find listening to Luol Deng's story really intriguing.

I actually enjoyed the BG interview. I wish he spoke about his Detroit days as i want to know what he thinks went wrong. Was it the ankle injury? The inconsistent role?

I was also surprised to hear him say that he think this era is is soft and speak down on it. I feel the current NBA would be perfect for him. I thought his eyes would light up at the idea of having a green light to take 10 threes a game from anywhere.

They were talking about players managing money and Gordon mentions a guy that came straight out of high school that was giving out blank checks to his friends....Sounds very much like Eddy Curry

First one is about a year old, second one is brief and brand new.

Talks about his 'free money comment.' Talks about his (actually very good) relationship with Michael Jordan ('Tough? Yes. ****? No.) Really cool stuff, great to see him as an older wiser adult.

Hmm...why would Michael Jordan get along with someone like Tyrus Thomas?

He seems like the exact opposite of a player that MJ would like.....maybe he really sucks at looking at talent after his playing days.

I doubt Jordan caudled Tyrus or anything, to me that just speaks that Tyrus has thicker skin interpersonally than somebody like Kwame Brown. It probably was his completely on-brand psychological terror. I get the sense from that interview that Tyrus wasn't enamored with the history of the Bulls or anything and I doubt he would be eager and go out of his way to please MJ. In fact, it just seems like he was completely aloof to the rockstar and celebrity aspect of being a pro baller; it's a disposition that explains his 'free money' comment, which he gets into.

Either way, he's really come into his own and seems like his head is on super tight. It's a shame he didn't find that kind of composure in his playing days, especially with us, but he seems like he's out there making a difference with his charity work.

You know what, that interview has changed my opinion of him. I never thought he was a bad guy, but I just thought he was a little prickly in terms of personality, but the he clearly cares about other people, has a good heart, and for most of his career, I think he was slightly misunderstood.

I still don't think he was all that passionate about basketball, at least from the standpoint of his career, but I do think he cares about what basketball provided to him, and that he genuinely does want to give back the best way that he can and good for him.
