Philips really looks like a potential steal. He’ll get a good opportunity with Pat out.

Our passing has REALLY improved. That’s what has me feeling optimistic about this team.

He's gonna make his mistakes, but I really like what Julian Philips adds to this team. He especially stands out for being a tall and athletic forward lol.

Ayton is a case-study in the total deception of talent, size, age and draft status. He's perhaps the closest case to Wiggins, in that these #1 guys kept the fog heavy with their 20 PPG averages and their natural gifts. Otherwise, totally void of competitiveness and vision, and total busts (regardless of Wig's ASG start).

Vooch shooting wide open 3s is pathetic

Notice how Stacey never calls out Vuc for his stupid 3s.

He keeps saying the team. No its only Vuc out of all of them that should be scoring inside. Vuc should never be shooting 3 unless its a bail out.

It's like we don't realize, that there is a reason he is open. They prefer he shoot those 3s rather than take higher percentage shots or the shot goes to someone who can hit from a more efficient clip from 3. At some point we have to abandon vuc shooting 3s

Really like the ball movement they are making good reads of the defense and taking advantage of things which was my big pet peeve about the team is they had no real situational awareness to take advantage of mismatches. Really liked Ayo's baseline pass to Vuc and like that they took advantage of someone fronting Vuc. The lob was nice, Phillips made some nice plays.

Coby looks elite at attacking the basket he just has such a variety of moves and shots and makes shots well through contact, actually seems like he looks for it before taking the shot sometimes which is a good sign.

Also just enjoying the look of the game the black and red court and then the black and red uniforms look amazing. I usually prefer home team to wear white but this combination looks great to me.

Earlier in the season King was talking about how he had to spend time in the gym just practicing layupss since he was blowing so many but you're right. He definitely has a soft spot for big men. Perdue, on the other hand, was really calling Vuc out a few games ago for his poor three-point shooting.

When will the coaching staff tell him to stop shooting them? This has gone well beyond a cold streak at this point. You simply cannot allow someone shooting 27% to hoist up 4 attempts per game after 41+ games.

I don’t understand why every 3rd quarter the Bulls don’t seem to come out ready to play.

Vuc is 0-3 from open threes and is about to drop under 27% on the season. He's not a dumb player, so you have to wonder what he's thinking. I know he's being directed to shoot these threes (and he's openly talked about how he doesn't love being used this way) but it's clearly a losing strategy.

I bet 2 pennies that if Vuc were to be traded today, whatever team he joins (except for a Thibs/defensive squad), his 3P% would shoot up with less pressure.

He's been shaken since the trade ; he expends a lot of energy on his lackluster defense, the pressure is high to make open 3Ps, win games, and he's mentally soft.

Hey- Ayton and the Blazers figured out that Vuc is the worst defender in the NBA.

I believe he's expending a lot of energy being the only big on the floor. It's a lot to ask of him to be the only guy who consistently rebounds and the only one to clog the paint when he is in. I think that's what has affected his offense. He's tiring himself out on the other end. I thought he looked better next to Theis.
