What's this about Coby waking up? Is he not allowed to have one poor shooting game now?

Previous 4 games:
20 points on 6/12
33 points on 11/21
26 points on 10/18
35 points on 12/22

Good for 29 PPG on 53/52 shooting splits.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

My blinders are on, I will not believe the contrary.

To be fair seems to basically be one guy who has an agenda to bring everybody down into the same pile as his favorite. There's a billion reasons to be more patient with White than Zach and Lamar. By most advanced stats, White's had a better season than Zach, and unlike Zach, White posts. This will 3 out of his 10 years in the league Zach won't make 50 games played. White has played 60+ every year so far and barring a disaster will easily hit it again this year.

One guy is trending up on a great contract, the other is trending down on what looks like an albatross deal right now.

Apples and oranges, and enjoy White, he's one of the few bright spots this year.
why are you all so hung up on Lavine? And where have I said a single bad word about Coby?

Don't think it's me who has the glasses on, whatever color they are.

9 years ago today I was at the UC. Drose put up 30. The Bulls won every quarter. There was only one lead change the entire game. Some guy named Snell put up 23 points on 9 of 11 shooting (4 out of 6 from 3). Bulls went to 34-20 beating the Cavs, who fell to 33-22, with LeBron having a game high 31 points and game high 8 turnovers.

Ahhhh.... the good Ole days

Vooch has been like a top 25 player in fantasy hoops the last month. He has become one of the biggest divergences between fantasy impact and real world impact in the league. I'm trying to think of similar guys throughout the years, usually they are always counting stat big men types like Vuc and he gets credit for his triples in fantasy whereas IRL it's a terrible shot that tends to kill the offense and result in transition the other way.

Richaun Holmes a few years ago was another counting stat type big man that was a top fantasy player that didn't really effect winning irl.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

Might have missed it if already posted. Caruso officially OUT :(
https://www.bleachernation.com/bulls/2024/02/12/alex-caruso-out-atl/

Rough. Real rough. Definitely sets us back on what everyone here (at least those still with some optimism about season) feel the pseudo-must-win feel to this game.

That said ... if Bulls can buckle down and pull this out without AC/Pat/Lavine, it would be a bigger win in my mind than it otherwise would have been

Just another reason he should have been traded. Dude is going to grind himself to dust and possibly suffer a serious injury while helping us to a heroic 9th place finish...

Have to point it out because some love selective memory about DDR only being ISO heavy. This guy plays a very team oriented game across the full 48 minutes. Yes, there are spurts where he goes ISO, it is a weapon many teams obviously deploy from their best/most consistent starter. But, like many many other moments across a game ... there was DeMar in first quarter trying to facilitate and leave space for team offense to open up.

Coby goes 0-3 and really ugly shots, and Bulls go down 10 early. Correlation is not causation ... but it is a correlation haha.

When is Pat due to return? We are really missing him right now, considering we have no legitimate power forward without him.

Game plan seemed interesting to me at first. With Ayo in place of AC I was actually kind of intrigued ... because Ayo has offensive athleticism and confidence that AC doesn't, and it looked like we were going to try and push Ayo on offense any time Trae matched up with him.

I think that is a smart way to go. Whichever of Ayo or Coby has Trae on em, they should be the attacking point of our offense.

Look, Dre had some fumbled moments out there. Billy cannot let that dissuade him from continuing with minutes for Dre in second half. Don't go away from him because of the in game struggles. We need him to work it out through the game and be there at the end.
