cool007 wrote:Coby better pick it up especially with a lot of key guys missing. It was okay for a few games but now it's a lot of games. He needs to be confident, aggressive and he will get out of slump - get your confidence back.

Ayo has picked it up for Coby but now it's time for Coby to step up and not stink in the 1st half of games.

It seemed he listened.

Great comeback. I like what I’m seeing come together with this group. It’s a work in progress but there’s some DAWGS on this roster.

After the 1st qtr, I said Coby looks like he doesn't want to be here and not being aggressive, doesn't look confident. We should have just sat him this game and give him rest.

Well, after I said that, He just exploded for 37 points in a big Bulls win on the road vs a team that we usually have hard time beating.
Coby shut me up. I will take it.

Now if Torrey Craig comes back, he can give this Bulls team a big boost.

Kind of shocking the Bulls won.

In that 3rd quarter the entire team looked like they have completely checked out on the season

Gotta give this team credit. There have been numerous times this season or within a game where they could have packed it in. Despite not being a particularly great team they are resilient as heck and give a crap even though everyone involved knows this season is ultimately not going to end with any sort of major success.

That first 3 got em going.

The big dunk put him in a new gear.

Coby will have a 50 piece soon.

No doubt. TC adds a much needed small ball 5 component with shooting and defense. This is a completely different team than the start of the season.

- Coby emerged
- Ayo emerged
- Drummond getting real PT
- Julian getting some good minutes
- Bitim getting scrappy minutes
- DDR playing with the flow of offense
- Vuc moving to a complementary player

Bonkers win!!!!

The new Coby White game for sure! Holy smokes his dominance in the winning 4th was amazing. He played FAST, STRONG, and like a savvy aged vet!

But, uh, DeMar is my favorite player in the NBA since he came to Bulls. Dude is just so absolutely clutch! What he consistently does across the last 5 minutes of close games is very very rare. And we may have been frustrated that he was taking over possessions too much, but as season has progressed you can clearly see he is coaching and impacting Coby White on this very very rare closer ability.

The two of them just took over and will be in Kings’ nightmares for several weeks haha.

Also props to Vuc for his rebounding on that final play. That was the ultimate dagger, kept it alive and out of Kings hands. His defense was a good surprise too, he played strong and held his ground. Big props to AC as always; he had a very very poor game but made his impact with tremendous hounding defense down the stretch where it matters most.

Vuc was ok instead of his defense on Sabonis. I know he’s a star but he was scoring on almost every possession easily and kept rebounding over Vuc as well. Bulls were very fortunate that Sabonis fouled out.

Yeah this is a problem. These 3 weren’t bad, Bitim and Philips had a few big defensive plays that helped bring the game back but bench needs to provide more scoring.

Carter has been a huge disappointment, keeps pump faking instead of shooting. For a veteran he’s been playing like a low IQ player, should be a lot better than this.

Craig returning soon will help boost this team a bit. He’s a very important player especially since Patrick is done.

What a fun comeback. I only saw a little bit. So I ask my Bulls fan peeps to explain how this puzzling but amusing comparison played out in real time:
Ayo...... 20 points, 9-15 shooting, 5 assists, 39 minutes.... -7 +/-
Caruso... 2 points, 1-10 shooting, 7 assists, 34 minutes.... +4 +/-
