I don't care whether the stats count or not. That was Coby's best game of his career. If Jimmy's out I think we're headed to Boston.

Atlanta sucks and it was nice to beat them and get some playoff experience. Now beat the Heat with a hobbled Jimmy and do more than just (quite literally) continuity.

Win or lose they're bringing back the same roster next year. Why change when people are happy with play-in wins? The United Center is packed every night, there is literally no reason to try anything different.

I feel like I was here last year after they beat the Raptors saying the same thing. People are never going to get it.

Alex is likely out for an extended period of time from the sounds of it. That’s a shame because he was probably having the best season of his career.

I get it. But, at least tonight we had a bit of success and buried a villain.

bro give it a rest. live in the moment. enjoy something.

I would enjoy it if the Bulls won on a regular basis and were good at basketball. I don't **** care if the are the fourth worst team in the league and somehow make the playoffs because they beat the third worst team. I think it's wrong on the level of the entire sport, I think it's wrong for the Bulls to aspire to it. I think it was fun that I watched the Bulls win in an elimination game tonight, but I think it reflects terribly on the sport and its longterm sustainability.

Why do you not want to watch a good basketball team? Do you enjoy watching your favorite team lose?

Losing to the Heat without Butler would be the most Bulls thing ever.

So if Caruso is out, who starts?

Jevonte? Dalen?

The play in game has been great for the NBA. So you're just wrong. It's true value is that it forces some of the best teams (Phoenix, Orlando, Dallas, etc) to try all season. I could easily see a team like Phoenix or Dallas coasting down the stretch if theres no play in threat. The games are mostly pretty compelling. Of the 4 this is by far the worst.

The Bulls decision to pursue mediocrity isn't on the play in, it's management. They've been very public about that. They'd rather pursue the play in than rebuild. If there was no play in, they'd just be gunning for 8th.

I knew I spelled that wrong...

Figured it would have been the 5 Greens.

There's nothing to enjoy with the Bulls other than the 2 times of the year they're relevant, which is right now

So what? Enjoy it. 2 times a year is better than none. At least this team has been competitive and play hard every game. They may not be the best but they still deserve support from the fans.

On a side note it was beautiful to see the UC so loud with fans engaged. Great playoff atmosphere.

Had to be Jevonte. The team really needs his energy to start games since they’re also so low energy in Q1.

This is A+ and momentum game for all of Coby , Ayo , DT and Javonte.

I can't expect better contribution from any of them in an win or go home game for now.

Happy for the win and Coby's great game. Hell ya.

Would have been shocked if you'd told me six hours ago that Drummond blocking his own teammate's shot last week was going to be only the second most bone-headed play of his April. I've watched the clip about 30 times now and Drummond seems to be looking right at Caruso as he bowls him over. I just can't figure out what his brain wanted his body to do at that moment.

One thing needs to be clear for the Miami game: whether Jimmy plays or not, the Heat are a serious basketball team. The Hawks aren't. This was a great win, a Coby White masterclass, but playing against the Heat will be completely different. I'm excited for the game, though. Everybody in here should be. Hate the direction of the franchise all you want, but the players deserve so much love and respect for the way they've come back from that terrible start. And yes, Billy Donovan deserves respect as well.

Even if Butler is out(which looks likely), the Heat shouldn't underestimated.

I hope we don't get overconfident. I know we'd lose to the Celtics, but I want to see Coby + Ayo in the playoffs. Hopefully Caruso is back soon.

I can't trust this team. This is a team who can beat the Wolves comfortably one game, and don't know how to play against the Wizards the next game.
