Crazy that Hali has back to back 20/20 with assists games. Hes in a passing zone.

It's so rare seeing a guy very pass first like him yet he'll still give you 20-25 pts.

For the Lakers and Warriors to get so much TV coverage and media hype, their records aren't looking like true contenders.

You better believe it, OG is his new Deng.

There may not be anything to it but, Moses Moody was given a DNP after being in the Warriors' rotation.

Imagine if he had Markkanen to pass to...

Insane.

He’s like Magic out there.

I’m late to the party on this but I like the Toronto/Knicks trade for both teams. Also, I realize Barrett’s contract was an overpay and the Knicks feared Quickley’s market value, but it’s still pretty wild what a 26 year old like OG brought in trade.

Will be interesting if he can become that star under Thibs he was not able to become prior.

I've forgotten a bit about how athletic KD was pre-Achilles injury.

Kinda surprised to see so much praise for the OG trade from Toronto’s standpoint and so little from NYK’s. OG is going to explode on the Knicks. On top of that they kept their juicier expirings and essentially all of the picks? This is great work from their FO.

It is not that much different now. He was smooth and skilled athlete. He still is. He just can not play 70 plus regular season games.

Side note, but OG's size, athleticism, defensive abilities, and offensive numbers at age 22 basically match Pat's. On the latter, the per-36 figures for each (OG Year 3, Pat Year 4) are -

OG 13/6/2, 60% TS%
Pat 13/5/2, 57% TS%

I have been making Pat vs. Harrison Barnes comparisons, but I think this one is better yet.

Just want Pat to freaking rebound. Not an issue when Drummond is playing but the dude should be a rebounding machine.

I'm with you, OG is a great asset. I'd say both teams have reason to be happy though, IQ is also a great asset and younger, although he wants $100M+ on his next contract.

People just don't value defense on trades, and that's why OG is valuable. A Caruso trade probably gets us a bench player, despite being the best defender in the league last year. Rudy Gobert was called the worst trade in the last 20 years, Minny is #1 in the WC solely due to defense, their offense led by Ant is below league average.

He looks like a guy to take a flier on. I guess him not shooting above 36% from deep have them not sold on him.

Yea, when I looked at a Kings game the other night, it's interesting how Barnes move and score like Pat. OG is similar too but he's more aggressive. If Pat continues to work on his game and get more confident, he should reach OG's or Barnes' Warrior days level.

It's sad that the Wolves have 2 seven footers and one of the best backup bigs in the league at 6'9" but can't do anything with 6'6" Zion.

Lakers are 3-9 since the IST, they have 6 games until the Jan 15th date when the rest of players become tradeable and it is not an easy schedule:

vs Memphis
vs Clippers
vs Raptors
vs Suns
@ Jazz
vs OKC

They could easily go 1-5 over this stretch.

They'll be begging for Zach LaVine by the 15th

I think this is the first, but they're obviously cracking down. Bulls will have no choice but to play Zach.
