Just let us play a game: In case Patrick Williams and Tony Craig would be on the waivers list and you would be a gm of a good playoff team with aging stars, and a rebuild in the summer upfront and without any cap space, whom would you sign until summer Patrick Williams or Tony Craig (just as a decision of someone living in "NOW time")?
Honestly, I'd probably go with Pat, being aware it's a gamble. There's more ceiling for him to show up with a hot shooting stretch.
On the whole, Pat is better, but there's just that issue of Pat's floor being zero, whereas Craig gives you a steady floor. Nevertheless, Craig isn't that much of a game-changer. Both are roughly equal in overall impact; Craig with the veteran edge, Pat with the shooting skill (in theory).
