There's still 48 hours. Hopefully some teams pay up.

I am 100% on board with holding onto Caruso. On/Off percentile by year:

21-22: 90th percentile
22-23: 93rd percntile
23-24: 80th percentile

per Cleaning the Glass: https://cleaningtheglass.com/stats/player/4231/onoff#tab-team_efficiency

Caruso's impact is elite. Don't undervalue Caruso by diminishing his impact to being "a good defensive player"

Caruso impacts winning with the best of them.

But the Bulls aren’t winning anything this year or next, and I have yet to hear a compelling reason why he would want to stay here after that.

Maybe he likes it here and appreciates that the Bulls are a team that went after him last time he was a free agent?

Or maybe the Bulls improve next year and that gets him to stay?

I know...its a stretch, but possible. I like Caruso, but I tend to think that if a good deal is on the table you take it.

We hear there are so many buyers, but it seems no team wants to give up anything valuable. And not just for our players. It’s across the board.

I feel like Philly should unless they're ready to just punt the season. Not sure why they went so fast to refute that rumor.

Unless it's last minute, he would have sat last night if he was getting dealt.

That was just weird. Don’t see what they gained by doing that.

Oh no, Marcus Morris might get upset?

It's pretty much that way, someone mentioned that 11 teams own all the draft capital this year. And the offers coming in seem to be downright trash, although every FO is guilty to some degree of overvaluing their own players.

There were too many buyers last year too (that quote got laughed at by AKME) but with how this season has turned out, they still should have gotten SOMETHING for players like Vooch and Demar at the very least.

Apparently AKME have been rejecting offers for Caruso (including the Warriors). They expect an OG Anunoby type haul for Caruso according to Woj.

I would like to get 2 of OKC’s middle tier FRPs if possible personally.

Yeah if you want picks. Okc is the place to go to.

Last year the Knicks were willing to give a decent package for Lavine. Problem is AKME is delusional and demanded the moon, the stars, and the sun. Now they'll be lucky to get a couple 2nd rounders and an expiring.

I don't see OKC as a fit unless it's in a 3 teamer. Between Dort, Carson Wallace, and Jalen Williams they have plenty of backcourt defense.

I do see them as a trade partner for Drummond though. And I don't think it's outrageous that they'd part with a crappy 1st for him. He does exactly what they need and at a far higher level than what they could get in the buyout market.

Yup, that's one way of portraying this roster mess. AK has delusionally painted himself into a corner and doesn't seem to be one bit fazed.

Good points about OKC guard depth. Although I’d argue Caruso is a better defender than those trios. Also OKC will have to consider their cap situation later with all of their young cost controlled talent so they should be looking to go for it this season.

I’m good with acquiring a late FRP for Drummond too.

Pelicans seem like they need some vets on their team. All this talk about breaking up the Zion/Ingram duo.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.
