Javonte is also skilled, athletic and a natural PF albeit undersized.
I will say that Dalen was hustling out there last night and made some heads-up plays. He is definitely is making fewer bonehead plays. His shot needs to be fixed before he can become more than a 3rd stringer.
I really wanted Javonte gone so that Pat would get more burn at PF and maybe we find a backup who was taller like Craig. But if we are sticking with Vuc at C (boo), Javonte is probably the best PF that we're going to be able to play alongside him given our cap/roster constraints.
The good about guys like Javante and Caruso is that they make a huge impact compared to having a 4th or 5th offensively capable player because their impact isn't limited to needing to touch the ball. The bad is that guys like that don't tend to finish the season healthy due to their style of play.
