No one player really pops that much to me, would rather have two swings at finding a talent.

I actually didn't notice the Pels had 2 picks, I think they'd be a better option than the Knicks (obviously depending on where the Bulls pick)

Players I'd be interested in if trading back:

Bobi Klintman
Tyler Smith
DaRon Holmes II
Donovan Clingan
Dalton Knecht

Matas Buzelis is my major prize, I think he's going to be a stud. But the Bulls won't be in striking distance.

I think he's good and might be available when the Bulls pick due to his age (which I think will scare off a few teams). He should also be a player who is ready to contribute right away.

One issue is fit. The Bulls need size and already have small forwards and guards.

Who is this Robbie Avilla kid from Indiana State? He looks and plays like Jokic. And he put up decent stats 17ppg, 7rpg, 4apg, 40% from 3 at 4 attempts per game. Is he worth second round pick?

Apparently he's a local kid from Oak Forest.

I wouldn't spend an early 2nd on him but a mid to late 2nd is fine.

Reed will go top 8. Too bad. I’d love him at PG and Coby off ball at SG.

I have him as my no. 1 if the Bulls don't fall out of the play-in.

He’s top 3 targets for me too. Think he pretty raw and would be 4th big as a rookie though.

I’ll take Big Z or Edey.

Shepherd, Furphy, Knelt, Walter.

We need two picks inside the top 20.

Think we need two picks inside top 30.

All about that shooting and a big.

Like Tyler Smith and Big Z as bigs. Along with Edey.

Shepherd is showing out and will go top 8.
Knelt is Grayson Allen high volume shooter with great IQ.
Furphy is shooter Caruso at 6’9.
Don’t want Walter.

Want two of the above. These guys would fit great with Coby, Ayo, Caruso, Pat.

Smith will be our most skilled big on day one. I don't think he's raw at all. Tyler Smith will need to work on his body, but he's no project by any stretch. To be perfectly honest, I think dude will be a top 10 pick.

Agreed, I don't see this rawness. He's been the most consistent player on the Ignite all season.

Nice game by Big Z today. 12 and 9. He moves so well in space and protects the rim. Kids shot is a bucket too.

I’d take him over Filipowski all day.

I’d be very pleased with Big Z with Bulls pick. I’d prefer to trade back and get him in a trade with Knicks or Pels for two 1sts.

I feel like the draft board is going to look a lot different after the season. As you say... Filipowski looks like bench ceiling to me (so slow), whereas Big Z looks like a starting prospect (needs a lot of development, but the speed and length are there).

Seems like drafting (talented) Kentucky kids is just about the surest bet in the draft... for starting caliber role-players, anyway.

Why? Filipowski is better on both ends right now and is younger than Ivisic.

Way too slow.

Slow in what way? He moves fine laterally and Duke's been fine with switching him on to guards this year.

This guy seems so unathletic that even Jokic looks like a good athlete in comparison. Plus he looks considerably smaller than Jokic. More of a PF length/size... Despite how skilled he is offensively, I just can't imagine him being able to stay on the floor in the NBA.

Look at that Avila guy move in slow motion, and then look at Jokic running the floor here:

Jokic dusts allegedly more athletic guys up and down the court routinely, and half the time it's with the ball in his hands after a rebound. It may partly be that he's in insane cardio shape, and/or maybe he gets going sooner through anticipation. But my man is not slow. In fact he's a lumbering one man fast break (h/t Dee Brown) against the lazy, tired and indecisive. Freezing cold take: what an insane player that guy is.
