Hopefully AKME avoid guys that are too raw.

Seems like a crap class unless the foreign dudes really hit.

Edey and Topic the ones that stick out to me. Maybe Dillingham although the path is narrow at his size.

Alexander Sarr, Matas Buzelis and Nikola Topić for me.

I don't get the Edey love though... he'll be lucky to be picked in the 2nd round.

I like Shepherd at UK too. Sky high IQ, plays with edge, great defender, and a high volume sniper from 3. Only 6’3.

Also like Tyler Smith of Ignite. 6’10 PF with wing skills and he can shoot it from 3. Super quick setup and release.

At this early stage, my favorite prospects to watch has to be Rob Dillingham(UK), Tyler Smith(Ignite), Wooga Poplar(Miami), Tyon Grant-Foster(Grand Canyon), and Ja'Kobe Walter(Baylor). These guys are fun to watch.

I’ve been watching Isaiah Collier clips since ESPN moved him to #1 on their mock. I mean … he looks like a strong kid who’s reasonably quick and has great feel. But for a top 10 prospect, let alone #1, he’s pretty damn unimpressive.

God, I hope someone else in the college ranks emerges. This class is BLEAK brother.

Yeah, same. The ESPN rank, prompted me to also check out clips of Collier, and you're absolutely right, he isn't one of those stand out prospects, HOWEVER, he would be a fantastic first piece to a puzzle. A strong, fast, point guard, who has an NBA body already, and is a willing passer. Again, perhaps not a franchise changing player, but a good first piece to add to a rebuilding team.

Despite the small sample size of him that I've seen, I'd be extremely happy with Collier, whilst knowing that he may not be that franchise piece, but hey, you've got to start somewhere. I like the way he plays though, he is aggressive, assertive and I like the way he holds himself on the court. We need that type of high energy player on our team.
Why so serious?

Nice to know ESPN's number one prospect is compared to Jeff Teague & Eric Bledsoe.

Why do we always end up terrible in the years we don't want to be? This franchise is undoudebtly cursed.

Reports had Wooga in the second round - is that just old news? I haven’t caught any full games, but his highlights and stats are great

It's still early so the mocks are off.

Yep. Not a fan. Don’t think he goes top 5.

Do you think DJ Wagner is the fourth best guard next to Dillingham, Shepherd, and Reeves?

Maybe. Not a fan of his game.

Think Dillingham is too small.

Interested to see if Shepherd could be a PG. He is sky high IQ, great defender, and can really shoot it. He’s too small to play SG even though he could defend them. Think he could be a PG next to a combo G SG like Coby. Need to see him in PNR. He can really pass it. Moves the ball quick and always is moving to right spots. He’s a joy to watch.

Could this guy play PG in the league?

Could he be a high volume 3p shooter?

For me it depends. If we drafted Collier and had the discipline to remain bad enough for a shot at Cooper Flagg in 2025, you'd have to consider that a win.

If, however, we drafted Collier and AK was under the delusion that he had a marquee talent and started building the roster up with win-now vets, that would be extremely damaging.

The same goes for any of the 2024 draftees, but I feel the danger's more acute with Collier -- he's a lead initiator, so a dumb front office might think they've found THE GUY.
