This feels like something he could have played through and gotten surgery later on. I wonder if a trade was in the works to a team he didn't like?

Again, probably irrational on my part. I dislike Klutch/Rich Paul more than Scott Boras now.

Where is all this freaking out about Klutch coming from???

https://www.nba.com/bulls/news/zach-lavine-injury-update-6

“After seeking additional medical opinions, in consultation with the Chicago Bulls training and medical staff, guard Zach LaVine and Klutch Sports Group have elected surgery on LaVine’s right foot as the next step in his recovery process.”

Says nothing about Klutch deciding anything.

I agree with wingy. Seems that he consulted with some doctors and this was the best thing for him. Hopefully he comes back stronger. The Bulls seem like they can’t get a break! These injuries are nuts!

This has Klutch written all over it.

Come on Zach. The dude has been a model professional his whole career. But ever since Klutch got their stinking fingers on him, he has been a Stepford wife for Klutch.

Coming back stronger? Lavine is done in Chicago. Forget it.

Still amazing they gave him that deal. And then Vuc. They really have no clue what they’re doing.

They better not. This is another chance to blow it up. Move on from DeMar and Vuc now. Zach only one left standing from the mid 3.

Pretty much.

6-8mo will put us in October - so at or around training camp. He's gonna need some ramp-up time before he can regain his form. At the earliest, we're talking next year's trade deadline and that's if there's no setback and he can somehow play up to his normal levels.

Realistically, I think they'll have to do this in summer 2025 if they want to get actual value and not a salary dump.

I saw 4-6 months. He should be full speed by October.

Do not ever, ever, ever, ever sign another klutch client.

Ever.

You would probably have to attach 2 FRP to get rid of him at this point. No way can the Bull give that up just to trade him.

We should be cheering for as many losses as possible while Coby and PWill play well. I hate doing that, but this front office kinda leaves you no choice.

Whoops, had the numbers "6-8" in my head for some reason. So he'll have a month or so before training camp starts.

I hope that month is enough time for him to shake off some rusty. It's possible that the Bulls start next year with a rusty Zach and super rusty Lonzo.

God help us all if they are both still in the line-up or even in consideration for being in the line-up on opening night.

They both will be in Lonzo actually returns. Zach definitely will be.

I’ve been telling yall and my co workers the same thing time and time again but no one is hearing me the main reason why they bulls organization are about to keep this built excuse going year are year is because of the fans who foolishly attend the games watch the games on broadcast television buy bulls merchandise nothing will change ever as long that keeps happening just ask for refunds and boycott all things Chicago Bulls then things will change for the better I’m 40 years old born and raised in Chicago I’ve seen it all with this franchise and its owners they don’t care until the money stops coming in boycott the Chicago Bulls completely

At this point I would, that’s how much I want him out of here. Maybe the Portland pick along with a second rounder. Detroit would probably think about it since they aren’t aiming for no play off or play in.

Last time the bulls tanked all season long just to draft Wendell fkn JR. F that no more cheering for losses, AK better get creative and find ways to win games.

He just dug himself a deeper hole by waiting so long to trade Zach. If he can’t then he should get fired.

Well it's not all season. The best case scenario is Bulls finish 9th place. Two of our best players are over 33. One of those guys is wanting a big contrsct after the season. What is everyone holding onto?
