Carter playing solid D on Trae and hit that 3. Hopefully he can turn around his season and be more useful.

The Bulls have played 5 games this month (counting this one) in 12 days, and White had played 12 minutes when you commented.

Why is Jevon trying to block these three point attempts? Just awful to foul two three point shots.

Teams routinely target Coby and Vooch. It's dumb that we don't do that to other team's poor defenders like Trae.

Like in that Magic game - you can't tell me that you can't run a play that would get DeMar switched so he's not guarded by Isaac all quarter.

Classic case of a guy that in a new role, struggling in it, is now trying to do too much. God I was wrong about that signing. He's the guy you sign as the last piece, not the 7th man.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

Ayo and Terry getting more minutes and Ayo especially taking advantage is the only joy I get really from this team, with Pat out.

There you go White. White being a good 2nd option is the difference between 35 win bulls and 45 win bulls.

After Craig's near steal and give back to Murray ... Coby was right there and just walked around while Bogi got a wide open 3.

OMG, then he just sits there doing absolutely nothing while Bogi gets an easy offensive rebound.

This is bad. He's the primary reason we are losing ... again.

Turn it around Coby!

He hasn't been good on defense this season. It could be because of his expanded offensive role but he's looking like other small offensive-oriented guards.

His on ball defense on Murray has been really good throughout game, especially closed of second quarter there.

His shots were just ugly early. And I was just disappointed with those two plays that Bogi took advantage of because it wasn't skill or anything, just him playing without hustle or awareness.

Hopefully his defense to end the half, and that long step-back two he drilled help get him up for second half.

Ayo taking advantage and stepping up with AC out ... and Coby missing in action most of first. DDR doing solidly what he does.

Big props though to Jevon Carter. Made the right shots (r2-4 all from three), and his defense was superb on Trae. Not coincidence that Carter is a +4 and Trae is a -13 while 1-8 FG. To play the d and only have 3 fouls feels pretty good to me, and worth it (he fell for on pump fake-foul, but we can live with one of those). He's def taken a big burden off Ayo and Coby being able to defend Trae like that.

That said ... being up by 1 at half while Trae has gone 1-8 makes me uneasy about second half.

Gonna talk my **** since we're up, but it's gotta be annoying for Hawks fans every time they face us we always have Ayo constantly sonning Trae.

He's def in his head at this point and Atlanta plays the exact sort of game that Ayo can impact offensively as well. It's a big advantage for us, we should be trying to get Atlanta as the wrong side of our play in series, we can beat them at home.
