Standing up for yourself is not wrong. Portis disrespected him there and Demar retaliated. Nothing wrong with that.If anything we need to see this side of Demar more often.

Portis is basically allowed to play as physical as he wants. But Bulls shouldn't retaliate.

Bulls shouldn’t retaliate but if I’m Chicago I’m filing a formal complaint with the NBA over that official - he clearly has an axe to grind against us and it’s resulted in the game getting out of hand. Officials need to be held responsible when they are complacent in calls and non-calls since they end up losing control of the game and cannot officiate appropriately in those scenarios.
