Bulls @ Kings - 9pm. Bulls West Coast Roadtrip

Let's see how many of us can stay up late enough to catch the entire game.

Bulls begin a west coast roadtrip against the Kings who are playing .500 basketball over the last 10. Chance to maybe catch them schedule watching as they play the Lakers right after us.

Kings generally win by just ourscoring their opponents - the Heat were recently able to slow them down and pull out a win. In general the Bulls have been holding opponents to lower scores - if it's a low scoring game we have a chance, if we try to run and gun with them we'll be outclassed.

A bad roadtrip pretty much locks us into a 9-10 seed and an at best rough first round matchup against Boston. Time is running out to gain ground.

Hoping for a full good game from Coby - no slow starts with strong second halves. We need everyone playing well from the opening tip in order to win - and we have had good wins recently (Pelicans and Cavs) so I know the team is capable of playing well enough to win. They still haven't shown they can play consistent enough to win consistently

We're only 4 up on Brooklyn for the 10 spot and only 2 up Atlanta for 9. We're closer to out of the play in than the 8th seed. This has been a miserable season. I just can't muster the ability to watch a full game anymore. Maybe I'll tune in if it's close in the 2nd half.

I don't know why people are even talking about seeding changes. 99% chance we stay in 9th. Atlanta with Trae out is not catching us. And no one else is even close up or down with 20 games to go.

Just illustrates the futility of the season. You could not have drawn up a more quintessential result for this team and management. We'll finish with 36 wins or so, bow out, and have the perfect excuse that we just weren't healthy enough to have done more.

The reason to watch a game is because you enjoy watching a game.

If you were looking for a greater impact like the Bulls jockeying for something meaningful, that hope should have died in August. That said, since the very poor start, they've played pretty well. We're 23-18 over the last 41 games which is half a season. That's not a small sample size for that quality of play.

I'm also frustrated this train isn't likely going anywhere in the long run, but they've played better than average basketball for half a season now.

Basketball is fun to watch and this team has been playing fun good basketball. The Pelicans game was fun. The Cavs game was fun. Don't miss the trees for the forrest.

We've seen improved play from Coby and Ayo. More minutes lately for OB and Phillips. So many claim to want to watch young guys, this is your chance.

Coby better pick it up especially with a lot of key guys missing. It was okay for a few games but now it's a lot of games. He needs to be confident, aggressive and he will get out of slump - get your confidence back.

Ayo has picked it up for Coby but now it's time for Coby to step up and not stink in the 1st half of games.

I agree if you are hoping for Bulls to jump to any higher seed? Then you will be disappointed and just going to hurt your feelings.

We just need to accept that this Bulls team is probably at best 9th seed and 10th seed at worse - also ceiling is that they might win 1 play-in game and lose the 2nd - that's about it. That's how the season will end.

Just accept it.

If Coby is not going to be aggressive and pass up open shots, might as well just rest him. He doesn't wanna play.

Coby has blown by Barnes twice, he should keep seeking out that matchup.

I don't know why management can't understand this and make moves with the future of the team in mind.

I see the game thread is rockin' tonight. Whoa fellas, let's tone it down a notch, it's getting a little crazy in here.

It's halftime and there are 6 posts in this thread if you don't count pre-game posts. Wow.

Jeez Vooch has bricks for feet. Sabonis flew out of bounds to keep that in play and Vooch caught watching (and inadvertently screening Coby) on the corner 3.

Coby is playing some very lazy defense.

The fact that someone recently said he's better at defending PGs than Kirk Hinrich was is hysterical.

Why are they switching screens with Fox and Sabonis?

What is up with the beef between Vuc and referee Mousa Dagher? This is at least the second game this season where they've butted heads.
