Wow missed wide open 3, got lucky. But wasn’t that a foul on Collins pick on Caruso ?

Honestly we should have won that comfortably but I'll take any win we can on this West Coast trip. We did play reasonably well across the board so it's not like we put up a stinker. The Jazz played incredibly hard.

Uh, Collins with the moving screen / hand check and trip to knock Caruso down, but ok.

he pulled off the rare trip/hook combo, with a bit of movement thrown in for good measure

What a crazy win...Coby stepping out of bounds actually saved the Bulls.
Weirdest game I've seen in a long time.

John Collins is a dirty player I’ve heard it before when he was with the hawks first he chocks a coach then he trips Alex Caruso Intentionally

Amin and King seemed oblivious, but yes…

The technical foul on Flemming was one of the worst calls I have ever seen. I was fully expecting Collins to be ejected for Carlesimo-ing him. Bulls should be sneaking a suspension from the league.

Dumars won't stand for that. He is getting suspended even if the refs are morons.

Re: Bulls @ Jazz. 8 PM CT
It's exciting and worthwhile to tune into Bulls games at least.
It's pretty awesome to talk about and know that we legit have the best or at least top 3 clutch teams in NBA. I mean, yeah, it says something that we are in so many "clutch" games (even against team we shouldn't be in a clutch game against); but at least we are really carrying the winning column majorly in such games!
2-0 on the West Road Trip. Pretty freaking sweet! Keep it up Bulls! DeMar and Coby playing legit all-star level. I wonder, is there any scenario at all where DeMar somehow keeps this level up rest of way, pulls Bulls into a better spot in playoffs (with Coby has his 1b obviously), and secures an All-NBA third team nod? Seems like an impossible long shot ... but maybe not. I know he wasn't worthy of all-star game when it happened, but he was just a bit behind (and mostly the Bulls record firmly took him out). I think he's eclipsing some of those forward all-stars right now though.

And how did Craig get a tech for 'instigating'? I've seen Lebron and others do that the Bulls countless times with no tech

Re: Bulls @ Jazz. 8 PM CT
i think collins got off with the single tech because flemming put his hands on collins first. you can defend it as a "flemming was just trying to clear him out of the bench area" but i don't think the league generally wants coaches adjudicating conflict on their own, so

Re: Bulls @ Jazz. 8 PM CT
- Collins should have been ejected; wtf choking a coach that was just trying to separate players
- then f*ing held and tripped Caruso! How did the refs miss that?!?!?!?!
- also, there were NUMEROUS missed foul calls in thel at 5 minutes... Caruso getting hit in the head, Derozan getting fould multiple times, etc
Other thoughts...
- My GAWD Derozan.... I do understand why he is Donavan's security blanket. He just stays calm, no stupid plays. Smart, heady, timely plays on defense too
- Drummond was huge negative this game. Some very lazy defense and was getting abused on the inside w penetration. His rebounding really didn't help us this game. (and, I normally love Dre). Vuc was slightly better on D (still bad), but at least he hit some shots
- Coby got tired at the end there

The quality of refereeing has really gotten alarmingly bad. Do refs get penalized for every bad call they made? Or at least there should be a scoring/grading system on how the game is being called?
