Real shot at the 8th seed .. which would give a legit chance for winning play in as 7. Could be huge. (Especially if Cavs are 2 for and spicy matchup and chance at seeing twin towers)

Since December 1st bulls have the 4th best record in the East.

I don't know maybe we are afraid to admit it, but this team is actually good?

Roles are defined
Defensively they lock in
And dare I say it, the reason we been performing so well in clutch games is because we are one of the few teams that have a group of guys familiar with playing with each other. Yea that dreaded word, continuity. Lol

Also missing 4 players too.

If we use that money elsewhere(from those 4 players), we could maybe be the 4th best team in the East with optimal additions.

Carter with a second straight solid game. It'll give us a huge boost if he can start playing like the player we were expecting him to be. If the bench is primarily Drummond, a healthy Craig, and the Bucks' version of Carter you can live with that, especially if Bitim keeps showing potential.

Vuc came out dominating this game from the first quarter to the end with 33 pts 11 reb 5 assist. GS didn’t really have a center and Vuc took advantage. They couldn’t stop him, he was even making his shots/3pt shots. In general he’s been playing in a different level lately

Demar had his own huge game again with 33 pts made one big play after the other including that and 1 late in the game. He’s been unstoppable lately, leading the league in minutes, playing in back to back he don’t care. Remember you guys wanted to trade this man for 2nd round picks lol, I think he’s officially earned his extension.

The rest of the team obviously did their part too ofcourse. Coby 20 pts hit some key baskets.Ayo did his thing again. AC may not have scored much but his defense helped a lot. Bitim was solid, hit a couple of 3s. Carter is finally playing well, need him to stay consistent off the bench. JP played 4 minutes but in those limited minutes he was good, not sure why he didn’t come back in. Then finally nice to have Craig back.

Shout out to Podziemski for missing a WIDE open layup that could have tied the game in the end. For some reason he used the wrong hand and missed. As an NBA player if you can’t make a layup with your off hand then there’s a serious issue lol. Also helped that Curry got hurt and Green fouled out late but no excuses Bulls are missing 3 key players for a long time.

Demar is such a great leader, on and off the court.

They are 4.5 games away from 6th. IF they continue winning they could even reach that but I agree 8th is probably more realistic and that should be the goal.

Really interested to see what DDR can do against all the great length and defense of Clips. Expect it to be hard on him.

Samectooen, how do we defend all those big wings? Can AC stick to Kawhi?? Ayo on PG? White on Harden.

Size is gonna be tough to overcome. A win would be just mind-boggling awesome … keeping it close and preventing blow out will take a really great effort in itself.

Looking at the standings, you have to assume that Sixers will keep falling. The Knicks could too, but Brunson's injury doesn't seem too serious.

The Bulls have 19 more games to go. The Pacers have 18.

If the Pacers play .500 the rest of the way (their overall record is .547) that means they'll have a record of 44-38.

The Bulls will have to go 14-5 the rest of the way to reach 45 wins and end up ahead of them in the standings.

Will Purdue's postgame analysis:
-Bulls are playing their best bball of the season.
-Patton (shooting coach) is the MVP of the team.
-Caruso was the unsung hero of the game.

In a previous post I mentioned that the Bulls have 19 more games to go.

Looking at the Sixers they're currently 35-27. 20 games to go. If they only win 40% of their games going forward (8-12) that means a record of 43-39.

The Bulls will have to go 13-6 to catch them.

The Sixers have only won 6 of their last 20 games. Per Tankathon, the Sixers have the 4th toughest remaining schedule in the East and we have the third easiest. It's absolutely a long shot, but if they have another 6-14 stretch it might be possible.

The thing that is angering about this current turnaround is that the FO didn't do anything to improve this team at the break, so even at this rate, we're either a quick first round out, or we don't even make it out the Play-in. So essentially it cements our treadmill status.
