Had to leave midway through 3rd with a comfortable lead. What happened in the 4th? Did we almost lose this game? Or it's not as close as the score suggest?

Scoot's putting up some epically bad percentages. Only thing he's got going for him is his coach was also a #3 pick, 6'3, 200 lb. PG... with brutal FG%. Took Billups 6 seasons to find his stride in Detroit. It's wild how similar their rookie numbers and draft credentials are.

I think part of it, is that the Ignite G-League concept is a bust. Scoot is clearly talented; lightning first step and hops for days, but he was not prepped for the NBA. He has zero concept of handling NBA schemes. I think at this point, I'd prefer getting a rookie (college) coached by Calipari or Tom Crean.

We're never gonna see that pick. Blazers are about to be the new Kings/Wolves... A decade plus of high lottery picks with little to show for it.

Caruso is clearly playing hobbled, but still coming up with big plays. Hard to sit anyone as each game seems so important if you're trying to jump anyone in the standings. Might look at a game like the Boston game to rest him, because let's be honest, we're probably losing that game.

I feel like I say it a lot in these post-game threads but I just love DeMar, and i've grown the absolute confidence in him. Late game free throws are high pressure situations, but DeMar just so casually knocks down clutch free throws or makes clutch shots.

Just a big admirer of this team overall. So many guys out with injuries, it'd be easy to pack it in, but so many guys continue to compete and play hard, and we've got to witness multiple players take big steps in their games in Coby and Ayo. You've also got some remaining young pieces that offer some intruige as well in Phillips, Bitim (out of nowhere), and even still Dalen (gotta work on that 3-ball).

Coby deserves MIP

DeMar deserves clutch player of the year and a 3rd team All-NBA honor

Everyone but Boston has vulnerabilities you could exploit in the playoffs, and as we've seen all year, this team is gonna fight.

we're coming for you Miami, Indy and Philly. Jump them all and grab the 6th seed, why not. We play 82 games for a reason.

Some posters get upset at other posters for being critical of the team and its players and use sarcasm when expressing their disapproval.

And Caruso for All NBA Defensive?

We're such a mid team but it'd be wild to have 3 players winning a bunch of hardware at the end of the season lol

Right!?

MIP, Clutch, Defense… and we get a play in game and get knocked out.

Contending teams made a big mistake not trading for DDR. He’s a closer.

By now we all know DDR is coming back and will be resigned to a Vuc like deal. I’m expecting a raise. 2/30.

It’s def the wrong move just like Vuc was but DDR has changed his game quite a bit and is picking his spots much more letting Coby and Ayo take off.

We should all get prepared for a 6-10 seed team next year.

Only the Bulls!

That's why there's always a question about what else can we do to improve this team? We have some players who are obviously contributing at an elite level in these various categories - and most of them on a very team-friendly value deal - so what's missing?

The easier said than done answer is obviously a top 10 star, but we're never gonna get those guys here. So what's next?

Filling in the 60M of dead capspace with actual contributors is another path, but doesn't look like we can get anything of value back from trading Zach and Zo unless we're also sending out assets. And if we do that, that feels like an all-in, go for it move with a core of DeMar, Vooch, and Coby? That doesn't seem like the move either lol.

You can blow it up, but again, there's no guarantee that you're gonna land a franchise star and there's a much higher likelihood that you stay bad for a very long time - and I don't think this FO has the stomach for it.

I see why AK continues to stand pat, because all the other options are just simply turrible.

Claiming success based on absolutely nothing. I thought it was just a joke, but he might actually work in the Bulls FO.
