Blazers brass torn on Kirk because of....his character?

Postby RyGuy24 on Wed Jun 24, 2009 12:15 pm

:jawdrop:
Speaking of point guards….Jason Kidd, Andre Miller and even Steve Nash have been linked to the Blazers of late. And while any of those three would be a solid fit for Portland, word is management is torn about Chicago’s Kirk Hinrich. It’s not Hinrich’s talent that is in question. It’s his character.

Between drafting Oden over Durant, being unwilling to deal any of their players, making the Darius Miles threats and now questioning Kirk Hinrich's character, I'm fully convinced Pritchard and the Blazers have NO CLUE what they're doing

PDX has an issue with a player's character when just 3 seasons ago their whole team was wearing ankle bracelets??

Yeah the Blazers sure are concerned about good character guys...

Their old nickname was the frickin Jailblazers!!! I do realize new ownership, but this is pretty hilarious.

um, eh?

It's the heroin habit isn't it
He beats his dog
He leaves the toilet seat up
He is a ROTTEN tipper
He starts every conversation with an official with "hey, stupid"
When asked for an autograph he invariably takes the offered piece of paper and plants a whooper of a loogie on it and then hands it back

that just seems really weird

That's ridiculous.

Kirk might be hot-headed once in a while, but to go as far as calling it chracter issues is quite retarded. Kirk would udoubtedly be a huge plus for Portland, and his character will be just fine there. Over his six years here, I don't recall a single mention of Kirk being a bad guy.

I don't get it. I've never heard Kirk Hinrich's character mentioned in any negative way.

most likely he saw what how he handled that rondo throwing into the announcer's table and made snap judgments on his character.

Was Pritchard with the organization when they were known as the Portland Jailblazers?

That can't be it, otherwise he would have shipped Aldridge out for smacking KG early in the season.

I don't buy it. This is just too dumb to be attributed to a front office that's been anything but. IBTgirlygirl.
