1. We acquired LHP Horacio Ramirez from the Royals today for OF Paulo Orlando.. So far the year Ramirez is 1 and 1.. 2.59 Era and .90 Whip in 15 games with 1 walk and 11 ks.

2. Josh Fields Demoted

3. Boone Logan Demoted (good riddance)

4. Contreras out for the year

5. Chris Getz infielder was called up. He is batting .306 with 11 homers and 51 rbi for charlotte

6. Lance Broadway Pitcher was called up. He is 10 and 7 with a 4.68 ERA in 22 starts with 43 walks and 96 strikeouts.

7. Heavy rumor that we have put a waiver claim in Jarrod Washburn Pitcher from the Mariners. He is 5 and 11 with a 4.76 ERA.


The wheels are spinning lets hope this helps. I really like the Horacio Ramirez pick up.

Those numbers look good on Horacio this year. I have been away for a few days any talk on how they are going to use him. It looks like he has bounced between starting and relief

To bad Jose is out for the year. I don't think Lance or Washburn are the answer.

Getz is batting a 1.000 can't beat that.................

I'm interested to see what Kenny ends up doing.

I don't know any of those names mentioned and the stats don't make a whole deal of sense to me, but judging by the vibe I'm getting in this thread, these were positive moves?
