Keppinger, 32, is a career .288/.337/.396 hitter, and is coming off an excellent season with the Rays in which he posted an .806 OPS in 418 plate appearances. He spent time at first base, second base, and third base in Tampa Bay last year. Keppinger, who rarely strikes out, figures to see ample playing time at third base for Chicago.
I don't know how I feel about ths move .......I might rather have signed E. Chavez for 1 year ?

Well Keppinger has hit for a decent average, but lack of power is going to hurt. Seems like an ok move but not someone thats going to strike fear in the tigers; twins; indians or royals. We also picked up a hard throwing releiver Matt Lindstrom who should help out in the pen. These seem like ok pick ups but nothing to get real exited about.

Haven't followed the team too closely lately, but I'm told Keppinger has been striking out a lot, especially for a guy who was known for not doing that. What do you guys think about his White Sox time so far?
