Hi guys. I know my name is darth celtics, but i've been a huge white sox fan all my life. My dad has been a white sox fan since the late 40's. I went to a white sox game for my honeymoon 10 years ago.

1. Have fun, talk baseball, make friends.

2. Don't troll. Posting something to get a rise out of somebody, no matter what forum you are on, your home teams site or not, is trolling.

3. Don't use * and stuff to avoid the filter. Type the word, if it's allowed, it will be seen, if not, will be edited.

4. Don't backseat mod. If you see something that breaks a rule, just Report it. Don't report it then chime in on the guy. Don't start telling guys to "get out of here you troll!" and don't quote it. The mods will get to it in a timely manner.

5. Let's try and keep it on topic, don't highjack threads if you can avoid it.

6. I'll allow most MLB talk here, but remember, this is a White Sox forum. If something does not involve us in any way, maybe we should post on the general MLB then.

I welcome you to post here because you're a Twins fan and I want updates on how the dominant Johan Santana is killing all the hitters while I update you with more facts on how Mark Buehrle is overrated.

So what's the twins total team salary this year? 4 million isn't it? Any more and they'll go bankrupt.

Lol. Sad thing is, they're paying the right people. Management and scouts.

Darth Celtic, I notice you're a Chicago Bears fan and a Chicago White Sox fan, much like myself, but how did you miss the memo on the Chicago Bulls. Where did the Celtics thing come from? Was it Larry Bird and the Celts of the 1980's that impacted you? Haha, just a little curious.

yes, i grew up in the middle of south dakota, and my dad was 1 of 3000 people in our town with a sat dish. My dad is a cowboys, white sox, and celtics fan. I started watching in 85, you do the math with football.

Now, basketball, I started watching at a younger age of 8, in 1983, with my dad. I haven't missed too many c's games since. I mean, the college years took away, but that was 93-96, didn't miss much of the celtics or bears those years.

Oh, okay, haha, just wondering really. That's cool that you were able to get hooked on sports in a place like South Dakota where there aren't any professional teams (correct me if I'm wrong).

If it wasn't for the Celtics, DC's dad would be the smartest man ever.

This forum is long overdue.
