Bronson didn't have his good stuff tonight, but the Reds bats woke up tonight, they had the lead, lost it, got it back and lost it again. They were up 8-5 in the bottom of the 8th but the pen gave up a 3 run home-run to the Marlins to tie it up. In extra innings, the Reds managed to score a couple of runs to win the game. Cordero picked up his 4th save of the season and Owings got his second Win, he has pitched well in long relief.
Jay Bruce continues to struggle, I think he should be sent down to tripple A if it keeps up much longer. His average is around .160 and it wasn't much better last year. How many opportunities can you give the guy?
