Damn, where are the Cleveland fans at? I came here to see what the feedback was going to be after that bogus call against Lofton at 2B in the fifth inning of game seven, and no one is here.

Well, even though there isn't anyone here to talk baseball with, I hope Cleveland gets a fair chance to take this game (even though I have NOTHING against the Red Sox). Otherwise that Lofton call is going to be remembered for a long time.

That play stole a run and probably a big inning from us.

You have to give the tribe credit, that was one of the more spectacular collapses in a series that I've ever seen.

Good series Cleveland fans. You have a good young team and I would not be suprised to see you guys back in the ALCS next season.

The experience was good but the team needs more firepower to compete consistently.

At least with a deep playoff run and the lack of any FA signings last offseason we should be able to make a big acquasation if one comes available. If not, then at least we should be able to resign CC.

Im not surprised we lost. This is Cleveland afterall. I dont know why I repeatedly get my hopes up year after year, but Im done. I cant do it anymore. I have lowered my expectations for every sports team in Cleveland. I will from now on assume the worst. This is what I get for being a hometown fan I guess.

You know you had the second-best team in all of baseball, right?

there really arent that many on here and we really werent posting when we were winning.

idk, i never really posted on here during the season because there really was never a discussion going - just some posts here or there. the posts in the postseason became a little more but still. i only know of three other indians fans who posted on here (outty, bmac and l&h) and that makes it hard to get a constant discussion going

as for the game, the breaks did not go our way in this game and it was pretty obvious that fox wanted nothing to do with us in the world series (talking about rafael "parez" (according to mccarver) and the camera pans to ben francisco...they didnt even know who perez was) but i wish they would have made it a little more objective in their coverage

oh well theres always next year

I'm still happy with the season. If you would have told me in April that the Tribe would lose in Game 7 of the ALCS and it wasn't to the Yankees, I'd have taken it without hesitation. Climbing the mountain isn't supposed to be easy, but this team nearly summitted on the first try.
