As excited as I am for the playoffs, I need today. I need a day to collect myself, get some much needed rest, and take a general breath. The last few weeks have been like nothing I've ever seen. It's also nice to finally have a situation where every single game isn't must-win. It's a 5 game series, the Rocks don't have to run the table (like they've had to do the past few weeks).

Very nice performance by Francis today. Also, it was nice to see Holliday, Atkins, and Helton all get extra-base hits, hopefully they can keep that going. Hopefully they don't follow suit of the Nuggets and come out with the "we're just happy to steal one game on the road so we'll play flat in game 2." I know the Rockies won't, because they are a different team, so hopefully they come out and bring a 2-0 series lead back to Colorado. I'm excited to see Morales and how he performs in ROCKtober. GO ROCKIES!!
