Opening day, a VMart homer, and a walk off single by a newly acquired SS.

What a way to start the season. JV looked good outside of that terrible inning where he started walking everyone.

Should be a fun year, LETS GO TIGERS!

Right now we're on pace for a 162-0 year, although to be honest, I'll be content with 159-3.

Opening day was awesome. Prime rib/lobster buffet and drinks at Mario's before the game, shuttle bus to the game, back to Mario's for dinner/drinks after the game. And all for free. It's nice being in automotive.

Two solid wins to start the season.

I got to spend opening day at the music hall near Tigers Stadium. It was a charity event so free booze and food, cigars on the room, and a movie theater style projector to watch the game.

Wasn't quite as good as actually being at the stadium, but it was a very close second. My tickets fell through, that was the only downside.

4-0 :O but I've only caught part of 2 games. Didn't know Inglasies was probably going to be out so long, I was looking forward to seeing him.

Miggy got his 2000th hit the other day too. Very impressive!

So a few days back the ESPN app let me know that the entire Tigers Team had 2 more strike outs than just the Upton brothers.

Found that way funnier than I should have

Tigers in San Diego this weekend. Its been a few years since they've been in my neck of the woods at a time when I was able to see them, but I've got tickets to Friday's game and Saturday's as well.

Definitely excited.

Dear Mr. Dombrowski,

You cannot ignore the bullpen any longer. Please make some sort of move--ANY move--immediately. If what you've got now sucks, send them down and call up the kids. I'd rather see games lost due to inexperience, which gives the kids experience, than due to the same crap being run out game after game.

Thanks.

I'm really not a fan of Krol...

Hopefully Robbie Ray does well in his first start.

Fingers crossed

Looks like the Tigers are making moves in the bullpen.

Joel Hanrahan signed with us, guess he had a good workout.

Goshdamnit...losing a series at home to the Twins the way the Tigers did pisses me off.

It was a tough break for sure, if that VMart hit didn't nail Casey Fein (He's baaaccckkk) we would have scored runs. The Davis play in left was pretty brutal as well.

But on the bright side Miggy went all Miggy on the O's, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat!

This team is starting to look really legit. Even Phil Coke had a good outing tonight. Romine's got to go though; that guy is utterly useless at the plate.

I feel bad for Fielder, but damn, does Dombrowski know when to trade 'em? I'm surprised any GMs ever even try to trade with him anymore.

Yeah, I can't think of a trade that made me say "Boy, Dombrowski got fleeced on that one."

Bit of a rough patch, but a nice little 3-game win streak at home against the Rangers will fix that. *fingers crossed*

Crossed fingers did not work. In what we would call "a bit of a funk" right now.

This year's team is the best 6 inning team I've ever seen. Now if we can just get MLB to change to 6 inning games...

That's the 200 million dollar question.
