another close one..

this is probably the worst time to be attempting a run..but the fish are battling..

SF is legit and 4 runs is probably all you will see when facing that type of pitching and mike stanton looks to be setting into groove..very excited to see how he plays this year out

the 2 best rookies in the national league start for the marlins.

Re: SF ser 1(w)-0(L)...Mike Stantons a big, big dude..

wow...so its funny how terrible things can turn in the end of one game to the end of another...

so no more cogs for a while...luckily there is OF depth but its more kids and now who knows what chris will be like when he comes back...

anytime you have jj start and loose its a sickening feeling...this poor guy would be wlaking away with the cy young if it wasnt for the 6-7 of his own wins the BP has lost...

really seemed like that game was over early, then over late, then really over and the fish loose another extra innings game..

thats something like 6/8 extra inning looses so far this year..

jorge cantu is probably gone by the end of tomorrow..probably the 3rd best marlin over the past 3 years, so its a shame he fell apart at the wrong time..but this is the young team they have built for the past 3-4 years so lets go logan morrison!

anibal anibal anibal..why do you tease us like this??

complete game 1 hitter. imo, every SP for the fish should be left out there for AT LEAST an entire inning longer than they are now...bc every starter on this team is better in his 8th inning than any RP is in their first, leo excluded of course..

and no more cantu :-(

sad to see him go as he has been a great asset of this team for a few years now and came up with more big hits than one over the past 4 years...

that said hes stunk up the joint since may and hes probably happy to be closer to MEX and playing for a contender..

Re: SF ser 2(w)-2(L)...No more "cantu can do" for the fish

the season is over.

the hole is too big. the ability just isnt there this year...

2 godawful loses to a totally beat up phils team...not to mention jjs worst outing of the year last week...

2010 is officially, "how good is mike stanton going to be" season...

already on a 40hr a year pace...so thats something to be happy about..

Re: PHI ser 0(w)-2(L)...cant even beat broken phils team at home

so ya the cards and phils pretty much ended any hopes of making a run this year...

so lets talk about the nationals!

gave the wundrkin a dose of reality and make what little fan base that team has sht themselves in game 1...6 earned will make you loose sleep if youre pinning your franchise to a kids right arm

then in game 2, big mike has the best game of this young career and firmly installs himself as better than jason hayword..

thank you for the nationals..

great outing by ricky..big mike continuing to show signs of greatness..even hanley finally had a nice game..

but none of it matters if the relief doesnt come through..

ok so its pretty much all over..

havent had a chance to watch a game in the last week or so but its irrelevant now..

the phils are hot and the braves are legit so its really just a matter of setting up the peices for next year...which makes cohglan being out even more crappy, as he was for sure going to be a major part of the future..

another nice outing for jj, i love seeing him go late, partially bc hes a great pitcher, partially bc his 8th inning is more reliable than anyone in the bullpens first..

and dan ugla is having the best year of his career. looking foward to seeing him, mike, and hanley for the next 5-7 years

1. the marlins will be the mets in the next 2 game ssoundly.

2. cody ross is overated and fans need to shut the fk up about

3. i dont care what profits the BUSINESS owners made, they run this team better than 3/4s of the league with less

not a nice night for the marlins. more bad pr, rickys out of who knows how long and jj just had one of the worst outings of the year..

at least we live in southfl and not nyc..

Re: METS ser 0(w)-1(L)...Cody was mediocure at best, get over it

not a great win but a win none the less.

lots of young guys really having good years...would like to see camron really show why hes been so touted for so long..

4/5 from ham-ram..have a feeling hes going to creep up to his normal 320-330 by seasons end..

2 nice back-to-back starts for alex..would like to see a forsure number 3 fall into line behind jj and ricky for 2011

Re: METS ser 1(w)-1(L)...Why do we care what owners make?

another met beat down..

hanley put his thing down. really really hoping to see him go off here at the end..the averages would say hes going to be at 320 by years end..

sweep of the braves= glimmer of hope!
