^ except those character guys are still helping the team...what else matters? thanks for posting!!!

plus migui had a drinking problem, hanley's just a prick...and if migui wasnt going to get paid the fish woulda never traded him

ok..so on the the 2 games against the diamondbacks were obviously over shadowed by the freddie/ hanley stuff..but i woulda like to see how game one woulda played out if freddie didnt STUPIDLY bench hanley..dude was visibly hurt and just spent all last season dealing with ugla over the same bs

no surprise the team pulled together in the 8-0 beat down and he came back strong after his one game "suspension"

so its been a while since i was able to catch a marlins game and last night wasnt really a fun one to watch...

i dont care what the braves do, theyll never be an exciting team on the field.

bullpen is still terrible and doesnt look like its getting any better...i wonder if moving a starter there will ever been something the fish consider..

and wtf freddie..you let the starter go after only 3 earned runs, no walks, knowing full well the bullpen has blown like half the games this year..

at least give the marlins a chance to come back on

how do you drop 2/3 at home when only giving up 4 runs in 3 games...

roy halladay throws a freaking perfect game..thats how

people are getting restles...if the phils plan on letting alt and fl stay in the hunt, the fish fans are expecting a move to be made..

mike stanton please!!!

^ ya...i mean ive been complaining about it all year but the marlins have said since day one they were waiting till this time of year to get another year out of him before he hits arbitration..

man ...so that brewers series was a nice come back from some tough losses against the phils..

its not looking pretty but the team is really starting to show some signs of consistency..if they can just find a few reliable arms to carry the 7 and 8th innings to leo, it would be on...

good news is...the mets are up next

same story is getting older and older by the day...

all those moves to build this team to where it is, talented, young and locked up for the foreseeable future is going to go to waste because of 3 little innings..

somethings gotta change and fast

that said, last nights game was thoroughly entertaining.

well that went about as well as you can expect..

josh johnson has proven me wrong so far this year and i love it! keep it big guy!

not many guys on this planet can out duel halladay..

welcome to the big mr. stanton

cant expect to score like that every night..

its really frustrating seeing a team with so much talent and so many peices, have such a fatal flaw..

eitherway, great win against a really good tampa team

stanton is a game-changer

great series against the rays...

just really impressive wins and a tough loss, i mean tampa is a legit contendor and they were thumped by the fish

mr. misty may horse fked the marlins last night. first tripple in like 4 years..wtf!

does it make it better that you get swept by a good team?

not really.

this year is starting to get a little out of control, i mean you want something to be done in the bullpen but its basically like a entire new set of arms every other week...14 different RPs and its not even half over..

and the fking mets cant loose for trying!

another 2/3 from the rays..

i just dont get it..the marlins absolutely destroyed the best lineup in baseball, in 2 series, and will probably get swept by balt..

chris cohglan is back! i hate on freddie a good amount and the whole line up card sht was a little much..but he stuck with chris during that terrible april and this kid is going to be north of 300 when the year is over

no way we get swept by Bal lol and yeah Cogs is on my Fantasy team! Stuck with him! :D

^ you had a good night last night then...

chris is an amazing player. he will be over 300 soon and just finds ways to contribute..not sure about that attempt to take 3rd last night but he was caught on an amazing throw

blatantly obviously hanley is happy freddie is out...kid was laughing and smiling all night..

with mike stanton in the migui cabrera role, jj in the becket spot, a mid-season manager change, it feels 2003 to me :)

so i havent had the pleasure of watching many games in the last 2 weeks..but its not like im missing much..

still blowing leads late..no other reason to point for being under 500 right now..

sadly the division is being stolen by a mediocre braves team..

battling the dogers last night, didnt even get a chance to pin this one on the middle relief..

volstad did what he does about every 4th start and looked like crap..nice to see stanton get back on track

and o ya, wtf at the management situtaion!!

Re: LA ser 1(w)-1(L)..the wheels have fallen off... :-(

Posted: Thu Jul 8, 2010 3:16 pm

i just dont get why this team isnt better..

o ya, they can only win if they drop 7 or more runs on someone or their starter goes over 7 innings...

eitherway, another nice mike stanton outing...even if this season is a loss, the major peices are in line for the next 4-5 years..

hope ugla is around

what can you say about a pitcher whos given up 1 run or less in 10/11 starts?

Re: LA ser 2(w)-1(L)..mike stanton hits moster dongs!

decent way to take a terrible series against the nats...

shocked that the bullpen held up in those second 2 games..mabe the averages will start to catch up and the mid-relief will get thier sht together..

last nights game was probably the most entertaining game the fish have played in all year..beat up one of the best arms around and a walk off from literally the most unlikely, non-pitcher on the bench..

could this be the beginning of a run??

Re: CO ser 3(w)-1(L)...Run begins now!!!

so 3/4 from an above ave team...ill take..

great outings from ricky and josh, enough offense..and the bullpen did its job..

hoping this is a sign of the rest of the year bc id hate to see ugla or ross leave bc the fish are a few games to far back

hey atlanta! can you loose some fking games please!

Re: CO ser 3(w)-1(L)...Run begins now!!!

very important win..

its unlikely but a sweep of the braves is basically a critical need to stay competitive for the div..

that said, what a up and down game..great play from more young fish, gabby sanchez is ball player.

and the bullpen is still god awful and will be the sole reason this team wont make the playoffs..

Re: ATL ser 2(w)-1(L)...where walk offs happen!

so the fish get 2/3 from a team that just does not loose...

evidence by the way the marlins slapped together those 2 wins and really, with the exception of the 8th inning in game 2, this might have been a great series to sweep...

same story, different day, players are finding a way to win on offense, relief pitchers are doing everything possible to loose them

i dont get why the starters are being leaned on more...?
