Re: The Case for Corey Seager as NL MVP
I have predicted him as MVP before the season started elsewhere for a few reasons:
1) He could hit from what I could see. It seemed like his power is better than originally stated and I combined that with Keith Law giving him raving reviews as a hitter and I thought he'd be an elite bat.
2) Didn't expect Harper to repeat last year
3) Predicted only one team from the Central is making the playoffs, so no to Cutch
4) After Stewart's stupid trades and Pollock's broken arm, I took Goldy out of the running.
Kershaw made me re-think it early on but he got injured.
Now it looks like his competition is Murphy and Rizzo.
Give me Corey over those 2 even if he doesnt win the voting. He plays the premier position defensively on the field well.....better than any of the publications gave him credit for.
Huge plus to our front office for seeing that.

I have seen Piazza, Karros, Mondesi, Hollandsworth win ROY, but I don't remember another ROY as sensational as Nomo, and none younger than Seager to play a full season at his age and win the ROY. this kid is the best dodger under the age of 25 in 3 decades.
ehhhhh f it.
