for me, this was as good of a haul we were gonna get with what we have sent out. I like Scott Alexander, Oaks obviously could have been a solid end of the rotation starter, but with our current rotation, he had no chance to even compete anyway.
ehhhhh f it.

Again...seems to be the response of people traded away from this organization when they literally aren’t obligated to say this kind of thing at all.

I’m still pissed Brett Anderson got rich off this franchise and took a shot at us as he left. You should be trying to find a way to give us the money back. foh.

2017-18 OFF-SEASON

Post#428 » by Quake Griffin » Tue Jan 9, 2018 6:06 am

January 9th.

Grandal not traded.
Yu Darvish still on the market.

Wonder why we haven’t signed him. He was JUST tipping his pitches right? Easy fix right? k.

not at all.

Darvish had trouble with tipping pitches more than once or twice now, and our own staff did not pick up what Asstros did during the WS. we should stay away.

Was sarcasm.

I’m against bringing him back.

Astros get Gerritt Cole.

He was available.
Archer was being shopped.
My guess is more will be available at the deadline.

This is in lockstep with my contention that there were SP options available if we were to take the organization in a different direction.

Well all you Dodgers fans I appreciate your passion I bailed on the Dodgers with My rams in the playoffs. I was at the game against the Falcons at the Colliseum.

I got pissed after the Stanton stuff I wanted the So Cal guy Cole was vocal about it. seeing him going to the Astros sucks I'm like Damn. we gotta see Verlander Cole and Keuchell Real talk.

and we aint bought YU back or traded for or signed anybody. what are we doing?

We it will be cool to see us do something. and at this point I don't know what's out there.

The Yasiel Puig stuff is weird why are you shopping him. Bull he's a fan favorite why mess up the Locker room seems like he was doing great and all was going great with the guys.

I don't know what these guys are doing. Hopefully we win a world series.

or maybe I'll Turn on MLB network and see we got Machado.

I generally hate how they have approached their roster since 2015 but they think they can catch lightening in a bottle.

The Giants are doing everything we should be doing. look at the Astros everybody is trying to get better. what are we doing sitting up here doing nothing.

Did you see now Longoria Mucuthchen Posey They got some real bats now. and still have Bumgardner. let's be real they would still be in it last season if Bum doesn't get on that motorcycle.

so What are we going to do? Vassey sits up here and says we were in on Mucuthchen. what's out there now?????? I don't know how we are approaching this but Machado is the prize and it looks like AZ is trying to make that happen so I say we get him. put it like this the division is lit bats will be in this division and we need to get somebody pitcher hitter all these minor league signings players do nothing for me. looks like they just wanted to shed salary but if that's the case tell the fan base and this whole we have to be players for Bryce Harper Yeah Right. well see what happens there.

When has a GM ever told a fan base that? They just do it and you should be able to figure it out. You think the average fan is going to think favorably of a GM saying he’s cutting salary?

As much as I want to go in a different direction with our organization, we are WAY better than the SF Giants today with the Longoria and McCutchen additions.

Okay what have they done this off season we were great cause Bellinger and Taylor had great years.

We had a great bullpen no Morrow. Yu did get us wins against Arizona and Chicago he was spectacular. what are we doing to add to our pitching staff.

Last time I saw Houston has Cole Verlander and Keuchel

San Francisco still has Bum who is an established Ace.

Return to Los Angeles Dodgers
