So, uh, let's hit some threes?
Well at least we're not Detroit!

The Raptors and Nurse genuinely kill me. They foul on every possession, get called maybe one out of three times, and have the gall to complain about it.

It feels like we should be running them off the court.

I'm beginning to feel more comfortable with Mobley threes. Still not a good shot, but in his last 13 games he is shooting 33.3%. Much better than sub 20% lol.

Of course, he's now shooting 1/5 on the evening

JB called a challenge and not only was it unsuccessful, it was upgraded to a flagrant 1 lmao which wouldn't have happened otherwise

I still think it's dumb. If Mobley needs to vacate the space where he's more effective so Okoro can start, then Okoro can't start.

I forgot how dominant we are when Mitchell is hitting his shots. We needed a game like this.

I agree in respect to how it affects us this season (there are 100% better looks than a Mobley three unless its last second), but the hope is that this leads to growth in this area just so he has the ability to space the floor down the road. If he's wide open and shooting 34-35%, let it rip. Its still below league average efficiency overall, but in the half-court, you may not get a better look.

It's kind of crazy how much better going 2 of 6 looks compared to 1 of 5. The Mobley 3 will be huge for his offensive development. If\when people can't leave him open, he should be a handful on that end.

Mobley is skilled enough to attack the paint from the perimeter. I think him becoming good enough at three pointers on a consistent basis is exactly what he needs to become elite at that end and take that next step. Teams will be forced to respect his shot, and he’s got a quick enough first step to drive right past the taller and much slower defenders. So I love that he’s hitting them. We desperately needed this.

Evan's handle needs work too, but he did pump fake Boucher (to Nurse's annoyance) so there was that. The pieces are slowly coming together, that's development.

HIs handles are already much better this season compared to last, so I'll take what I can get at this point.

They are, but his drives from the perimeter have been an adventure at times. That one guy on the planet respected his shot enough to bite on his pump fake is a sign it's only going to get easier for him and his teammates.

Weird look for the Raptors not bothering to start one of their backup PG's (doesn't look to me like Scottie is ready to be running a team) - but that was a whole lot of length to throw at the Cavs and we had no problem knocking down shots because like I've said when Mitchell and Garland both get cooking and playing off each other we're a big problem.
