Looks like Wade, Mitchell, Mobley, Strus, and TJ are all out again tonight.

I assume this is gonna be a tough game. Suns have 3 high power scoring options plus a center that weighs near 300 pounds.

I was going to say, Booker might still be out. But he's probable after missing the past 4 games with an ankle sprain.

Great game that didn't end up with us in the W column. Somehow this was as close was it was and our primary KD defenders were Niang and IMo

It was nice seeing all the bench guys get pretty good run out

This box score reminds me of that old Ron White joke... "I don't know how many guys it woulda taken to kick my butt, but i know how many they were going to use" lol

Niang should be fatter and bricking an open 3.

On one hand we got to see floor-bending Darius Garland and on the other we got to see the team continue to struggle when the opposing coach wakes up and defends him more aggressively. I like that JBB was willing to play CPP with him, but if they're not going to be coached up going in, it's going to take time for them to figure out on their won. CPP just deferring to Darius and Darius only getting the ball back to him when he's trapped under the rim isn't the way. That wasn't the Rubio "blueprint".

Ultimately there was a good amount of "I'm just trying not to mess up too badly" from CPJ and I.Mobley last night, but to their credit they did not mess up too badly. Not sure if it was I.Mobley who was helping off KD and leaving him open in the 3rd, though.

We probably need Niang and Merrill to shoot better than 1/11 from three to expect to win, as banged up as we were.

Yeah, that was Mobley. Garland was pretty demonstrable about letting him know helping off KD was a really bad idea.

Isaiah is looking to move the ball, probably to a fault. Where we really need him to make a difference is on the boards and just being more physical in general.

I don't really understand how I. Mobley expects to stay in the NBA if he won't set a real screen. His bother is good enough to get away with that weak sauce. He is not.

And Okoro should be doing his standard postgame pose.

Makes me wonder if anybody in the organization knows how to teach a big how to set a screen, box out, rebound, etc.

If you make it to the NBA without knowing how to do those things, that's a problem. You would think the coaching staff for the Charge would clean it up though.

Yes, it is a problem and it seems unlikely the Charge would have a better big man's coach on staff than the Cavs. I suspect it's just our general player development guys moving back and forth to help shag balls and work on skills.
