I've sort of quietly stanned for Bauers a little bit, and I thought he looked okay and would rebound even when his numbers were awful, so I think I have a right to trademark the Bauer Power moniker. (I know it's Bauers but come on, it's too good to get caught up in the details.)
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.

I was kind of down on him, BUT, his Statcast is really good so maybe there is something there. Almost every batting category is near the great side except Whiff and K %. He will get an extended look so we’ll see what happens. Defensively he is pretty solid I feel.

He's got some holes in his swing and I think an ~.800 OPS is the best he can dream of, but that's still solid for what he cost in assets and salary. I envision a couple years of decent production in his physical prime followed by a total crash, kind of like Travis Shaw except with slightly less production and positional value.

At some point Contreras has to get a real day off right? Even with days off disguised as DHs that's asking a ton from a catcher
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Chourio can't stay up in the majors for much longer if this keeps up. He looks completely lost at the plate, despite the rare hit today.

Frelick needed this game in the worst way. Good for him.

Wait, is today Sunday? What's with the Sunday lineup? You have a day off tomorrow.

It was good to see him rope a single last night. Maybe just play him in day games as has a .746 OPS in 59 PA’s vs night games .446 OPS in 75 PA’s, haha. I think ride it out a little longer and see if he gets it going. His statcast isn’t super pretty at the plate but maybe he can have a couple good games and get hot.
