Sure wanted Burnes to get a chance to finish it, but still great seeing them get the no hitter!

Might be time for Plesac to move to the pen... he’s been the starter for all 3 games Cleveland has been no hit this season lol

because Counsell could think beyond the next 15 minutes and has a World Series to win.

Willy Adames plays shortstop.

Adames is injured. I wasn't talking about for the rest of eternity.

Yep, Craig looking stupid for putting him out there for 8 imo, if you give him 8 and he gets through it perfect you have to give him 9 unless Burnes said he wasnt up for it. Cleveland is awful not like he had a murderers row coming up in the 9th.

Magic number is now 7

Ronaldo made his return debut for man united earlier today and scored 2 goals in the game.

What a wonderful surprise to come home to after work tonight.

I’m not sure I can handle anything but a World Series win for this team. It needs to happen.

It's got to be a tough call to pull a guy three outs away from a no hitter. I wonder what Burnes said to CC when he decided to hook him. Perhaps he was just gassed.

After the game Burnes mentioned that he had to fight for the 8th, perhaps they compromised.

Burnes said he was gassed. And even if he lied, he had lost a couple mph on his pitches. It would have been stupid to run him out there for the ninth.

Lauer no hitter alert
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

A couple years ago the tavern was two blocks away. I walked over to let them know, they of course did, and the phone was ringing off the hook. She hated it so much.

I thought the Reds would give us a proper race in September given their schedule.
