Man, both of those diving attempts on Hoskins’ hits feel should’ve been caught. Instead 2 hits and 2 RBI’s.

If this is his norm, he's an MVP candidate. He can be a lot worse than this and still be a big plus, but I get what you're saying.

I guess Freddie was due for a bad outing. Hopefully the bats keep going the last 4 innings.

Not a good effort from Freddy at all today, especially to give back the lead right after the offense battled to retake it.

That home run by Gary Sanchez was completely insane. 102 tailing up and away out of the strike zone and he just casually takes it the other way like it's no big deal.

I mean I'm happy we added another run but how do we manage to **** up every bases loaded situation?

Still only one series loss on the season. 8-)

Will definitely take a 5-2 division road trip. This team might actually make some noise if they can get healthy.

Yeah "a guy to keep around as a regular" is a massive understatement for what Turang is doing.

My point was he was a guy I, and some others, were not convinced could be an every day starter because he looked weak at the plate for majority of last year. I personally felt he was trending towards a defensive forward utility back of the roster guy. To his credit he is getting on base, striking out less, stealing bases, etc and if he can consistently do that at an average to above average rate he can definitely be an everyday guy. We’ll see if its a hot start or if he has figured some things out. Hopefully the latter.

I hear you, wasn't trying to give you a hard time or anything I'm just really excited with how he's doing and trying to temper my own expectations a bit because he's playing at a near-MVP level right now.

Even last year with how abysmal his hitting was his defense and base-running still got him a 1.6 WAR, and I don't think he'll ever hit that poorly again. His plate approach and swing seem night and day different.

Yeah him even swinging at that is insane

Sanchez has a .975 OPS the past 10 games, nice to see after such a horrific start.
