Brewers/Reds Series

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Mon Sep 21, 2020 3:21 pm

Monday - 5:40 - Woodruff vs. Castillo
Tuesday - 5:40 - Anderson vs. Gray
Wednesday - 5:40 - Houser vs. Bauer
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

This is basically the playoffs this week. Win more than you lose and keep playing.

Does 4-3 do it or will 5-2 have to be the mark?

They have 8 games over the next 7 days. 5-3 probably gets them in but its not a lock.

Not going to lie, Jedd Gyrko was the best off season signing for Stearns.

Yeah of the throw some **** and see what sticks he's been the best. Nice they have an option on him next year too.

Just saw a tweet about Devin Williams and realized I haven't checked in this season at all. Never heard of him but apparently his changeup is legendary.

Also, I thought we were supposed to suck.

They were never going to suck. Averagish was always their destination for the year. Good pitching and really crappy offense wasn't really the expected route though.

Pretty low bar. Certainly not Stearns's best offseason.

Watered down season and low expectations aside it's fun to be in the hunt the final few games.

Yeah, this guy.
Here's 5 minutes of Devin making people look silly with his changeup this year.

I've struggled to get really engaged this year because of the short watered down format. It's going to feel really cheap if we end up going on a deep run and I have to fair weather it after being a die hard for a couple decades.
