I used to go to the Northwoods league games more when they were the Bullfrogs even though the stadium was worse then. It's roughly the same price, you get to see legitimate prospects, and the concessions are much better

We used to go to more Bullfrogs games too, more b/c we didn't have kids yet, but I get what you’re saying. The name changes were silly and then Booyah lasted like 1 year. I don’t love the combo soccer field/no dirt infield, but The stadium itself I really like and is nice. we just started returning to games in the last 2 years and I will say the atmosphere is a ton better. I’m nostalgic to those late 2000s/early 2010s Bullfrog days but some nights were like 500 people and no vibe. Every Rockers game we went to last year had 3-4x people and was fun. So in that aspect I think its better today. NWL offers really good player/fan interaction too. Having a few elementary aged kids, they loved interacting with the players…who are also fantastic. Understandably the T-Rats have to monitor/limit it more. Both are great though. Its nice to have both options within 10 and 30 minutes.

Absolutely. We're blessed in this area to have two separate teams that are easy enough(and cheap enough) to access regularly during the summer. The couple of times I have been to the new stadium I've enjoyed myself.

Other than Quero maybe, the top 7 all realistically could break in the bigs by end of next year I’d think.

Different perspective than what's been out there. Definitely not as high on the system in terms of impact players as other outlets are.

Seems to be higher on Knoth then I've seen other places but much lower on Black

Josh Knoth, RHP, Brewers: Knoth ranked 12th in the loaded Brewers Top 30 heading into 2024 and could be name that climbs that list as well as others with a strong performance in 2024. An undersized righthander from the New York prep ranks, Knoth showed huge stuff pre-draft touching 98 mph on his fastball mixing in a pair of high-spin breaking balls. His slider sits in the mid-80s, while his curveball sits in the low-80s with power. Knoth will flash a changeup as well but it’s a clear fourth pitch behind his pair of breaking balls. Knoth will begin the season with Low-A Carolina where he will be one of the pitching stars on an exciting young Mudcats club.

Brett Wichrowski, RHP, Brewers: When our team saw Wichrowski pitching for the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League prior to the 2023 draft, he was an interesting day three type with a low righthanded arm slot that created deception on his sweeper slider and low-90s fastball. When our team laid eyes on Wichrowski this spring his stuff had taken a considerable jump in terms of velocity and more defined movement. His sweeper looks even more dynamic than it did at Bryant or on the Cape and his fastball now sits mid-to-high-90s with late downshift to the armside. Wichrowski packs plenty of relief risk but he is the right organization for high octane pitchers with relief risk that have a chance to develop into a starter. Wichrowski will begin his season with High-A Wisconsin.
