Brewers/White Sox Series

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Fri Jul 23, 2021 5:25 am

Friday - 7:10 - Peralta vs Giolito
Saturday - 6:10 - Burnes vs Rodon
Sunday - 6:08 - Woodruff vs Lynn
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I really thought Hiura was as about a sure thing hitter as the Brewers have had in a long time.

What could have been.

Counsell laughing while Anderson is chewing out the ump was entertaining.

Burnes first hit he gives up doesn't even get to stay on base. Hell of a play by Avi.

Get that sweep. Any trade rumors? Heard people at the local pub say brewers were looking at a bunch of pitchers... Sherzer, Kimbrel, a Pittsburgh reliever... Not sure if anything tangible but I haven't seen anything on the tweeters.

Counsell needs to make a change with Yelich, like moving him way down the lineup. He continues to strand runners. His slugging is currently only better than JBJ in today’s lineup. Forget what he did two seasons ago. He’s a No. 7 hitter at best right now.

Our offense would be so much better if we had Geoff Jenkins as a starting corner outfielder instead of Chris Magruder.

I’ve been waiting for Geoff’s name to re-emerge.

I've purposely been blocking out thinking about it but the Yelich stuff is going to kill us if he can't figure it out. His extension hasn't even kicked in yet. I think everyone was thinking that it might look a little ugly in the last couple years but nobody saw this immediate drop in level coming.

Yeah, I don't know if it's residual effects from lining a ball off his kneecap or if it's other injuries but that fall has been drastic. I didn't expect him to be a 9 time mvp but this is ridiculous.
