Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Mon Aug 16, 2021 12:54 am

Tuesday - 6:45 - Burnes Vs, Wainwright
Wednesday - 6:45 - Peralta vs. Flaherty
Thursday - 6:45 - Woodruff vs. TBA
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Classy move as the visiting team to not embarrass the home team in front of their fans right away.

Bet the Cards regret letting Wong go, a huge mistake just to save some money. Looking at Wong's batting stats this season, he'd be the 4th best hitter in the entire Cards team, not to mention his gold glove defense at 2B.

This brewer team can win the world series if the pitching holds up healthwise. Is this the most complete staff the brewers have ever had?

It pretty much as to be, 3 starters with sub 2.5 era and probably elite 8th and 9th inning guys. If Boxberger is legit 7th guy, which he seems to be, it is damn tough to beat this team come playoffs.

Yeah I was saying at the start of this season it's probably the best staff top to bottom they've ever had and since then the top of the rotation is even better than I had expected. Hell the back of this rotation (Anderson, Hauser, Lauler) is better than a lot of past brewers teams top end guys.

You also have Cousins who hasn't given up a run in 16 appearances.

All the pieces are there, especially now that the offense is, dare I say Top-5 over the last month or so? They're gonna be awfully hard to beat in a 5 or 7-game series.

Yeah, very tough to gauge this team when you don't get them to play often, but after looking at some baseball reference, that did jump out at me.

The other thing was how much better Rowdy and Adames have been with us since their previous teams.

We need the DH just so we never see Yelich in the field again.
