Brewers/Reds Series

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Mon May 2, 2022 1:26 pm

Tuesday - 6:40 - Woodruff vs. Guiterez
Wednesday - 6:40 - Peralta vs. Mahle
Thursday - 12:40 - Houser vs. Greene
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Woody wasn't real sharp but still had 12 K's in 5+. Reds are bad.

I know it's wholly unnecessarily, but I absolutely wanted to see Rowdy hit that out and got excited that he may have.

8 RBIs. New Brewers record.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Hit the ball far enough you don't need to sprint.

7 days without any game action for Hader doesn't seem ideal, but obviously it was a fun game that skewed a lot of numbers. Reds literally might be all-time bad in the modern era.

I think maybe Hader gets an inning today no matter what. They might have done that last night but with a day game today they didn't want him possibly having a short turn around.

We get the Reds again next week lol.

We're suddenly fifth in baseball in runs scored, and third in run differential

I don't really get how the Reds have been this bad outside of some injuries to key guys like Castillo, India, Moustakas.

Votto being a trainwreck and now having COVID doesn't help, but I have an actual conversation before the season where a few friends and I were talking up betting the over on whatever it was, 72 games. There are a lot of functional MLB guys like Pham on their roster...the reason we decided against it was we thought it could go in the tank and they'd sell everything off/give up. Didn't think that would be the case 25 games into the season, though.

Amazing to hit a pitch that high with enough launch angle to get it out. Nicely done.
