Unsurprisingly, Turang is kinda what he profiled to be: probably a utility guy.

I'm not giving up on any of these guys, but realistically I am only counting on Chourio to be a mainstay and then one, maybe two of Mitchell, Frelick, Wiemer, Turang to stick. Mitchell's peripherals were not great and the regression was starting just before he got hurt. That's still not awful. The defense is probably there with all of them but Turang is a utility caliber bat, Mitchell's success was a bit of a mirage plus now you have the injury.

I can't complain with either direction this goes short-term. If they sink a bit more, I probably just say **** it and deal Burnes and Woodruff/Adames if they return to health in the next month.

Early start today, 4:10 local time. AppleTV game.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Its going to be interesting given the bad PR/locker room reaction from Hader trade and quiet offseason. In the NL Central its hard to imagine they wont be in the division race come deadline time, so a sell off is going to have really bad optics again. Do you just ride it out this year and do everything to make a playoff/Series run with these guys? Or do you just cash out knowing you probably arent going to come out of the NL? I dont know. As a fan want to win now and see what happens, especially in a small market, but certainly see the logic in restocking the shelves for the next era.

The thing is that the Hader trade is looking fabulous right now. They weren't going to win a championship last year and probably aren't this year.

They can either give into the PR/fans and dump their remaining farm system to probably lose in the first round and be a dumpster fire for a few years or they can retool here and have likely another solid 5 year window.

It's the fluky MLB playoffs so they could definitely win if they take the NL Central (that's not even a given) but I'd rather take 5 chances over the next decade. I'd be much more inclined to go all-in in the last 2 years of Woody/Burnes/Adames as a Brewer if the team was clearly a great one.

Ruf hurt running into tarp on foul ball. Leg bleeding. Probably not serious but he's out of the game. I like Apple TV games. They look good and show some ibter stats.

Hell of a call-up for Monasterio. Have to feel great for him.

Have to think it will go up as we are now in the summer months. Definitely some of the fan angst towards Attanasio has bled into ticket sales and guessing season membership dropped. I think MLB as a whole is up in attendance which is great, but hopefully the team can get hot and bump this back to the 30K range.

With that said, 28-29K is probably 70% capacity so its not like its awful either.

Every year that I can’t legally watch games (not paying for Ballys), I’ve found myself watching less games, in turn going to less games, going to fewer tailgates and ultimately caring less about the team (as well as not buying team gear).

I would bet a lot of people are slowly becoming more disinterested like me. This Ballys thing has been a disaster, never mind all the new waves of fans that arent building interest in the team.

If MLB and the Brewers want people coming to games, it starts with making the games readily and cheaply available on TV.

Singleton, Perkins, Monasterio. Can't keep track anymore.

I wasn't happy with the Perkins call up after his first callup struggles, but I'm glad I was wrong.

As long as they can hit, I don't care who we callup anymore.

Weimer has some of the weirder miscues for an obviously good outfielder

What is with all these Reds stolen bases today? Are the Brewers pitcher not holding the runners well, or Contreras struggling to throw out these baserunners?
