Yeah, it is. I just snagged 4 for $2 total in case end up being able to go. They are steep but essentially free. Although in my account keeps saying bar code unavailable, see box office, which is odd.

This was reported by people at work too. Apparently the bar code becomes available the day of the game.

Thanks! I doubt I end up using mine but if kids baseball gets rained out, at least have the option of using free tickets I guess.

Barcodes showed up last night. I was also able to forward a couple of them to a buddy. Wild to think can get in the building for essentially nothing.

Trying to talk myself off the ledge because I've always felt this had a chance to be a great storybook/cinderella season, but Miley has been very good this year and there are enough rest days to use just 3 starters in any series. I do trust Woodruff's "go right at them" style more than Corbin's cuteness though. Corbin has more upside but also more volatility IMO.

Need to sweep. Burnes tonight, Peralta game 2. Miley would be game 3. Or game 1 in LA. If we go 3 games I don't know who would start Saturday in LA. I doubt Burnes on short rest.

But let's just win this series first.

Is Peralta for sure Game 2? I kind of wonder if they win if they don't trot out Miley in Game 2 and keep Peralta in their back pocket for Game 3. Today is almost a must-win not to be overdramatic.

I do agree on the styles. There is a psychological aspect to losing Woodruff, BUT since Woodruff returned the team is just 5-4 in his starts and have lost 3 of the last 5. And they were 60-52 into his return start, so its not like we were hot garbage without him. I'm not fooling myself saying this is a huge loss and I'm taking Woodruff any start I can, but I'm also not just going to throw in the towel because he is out.

Miley has been pretty good when he is healthy as well. Houser has a 2.14 ERA and is 3-1 in his September/October starts as well. If he can carry that over, that would be fantastic if he ends up getting a start at some point.

I also think I saw the offense since the trade deadline is Top 15 and in the last month almost in Top 10.

Oh no doubt. No disputing that feeling. Feels like a looming black cloud right now over everything. Hopefully somebody like Miley can step in and just have a run. We'll see. I would love to see them just take care of business tonight and get some good vibes back.

It's possible Miley goes in game 2. Save Peralta for game 3 or game 1. It might depend how tonight goes. It really is must win against a crappy pitcher.

Winker is interesting. He has not been up for a while, correct? Or did I miss a late season call-up? I get Wiemer from defense standpoint. Mitchell I always thought was a long shot but also feel he offers pinch run and defense unless they’re hopeful Winker can add some pop as a pinch hitter I guess.

Winker was obviously once a good hitter. His career was probably derailed by injury. I think they kept him all year just saying, "sure, why not. What if he finally turns the corner with his health?"

Well...maybe? He is mashing AAA pitching during rehab. So was Keston Hiura who we've found to be a AAAA guy...but maybe this mean Winker has turned the injury corner.

Houser pitched 5 innings Sunday. I imagine he would be on the NLDS roster. Winker must have had a handshake deal to be on the playoff roster. Mitchell should definitely be in before him.

Yeah I did see Winker has a .962 OPS with Nashville in the past month. If can carry that over, maybe have a weapon. Risky to try it in the playoffs but they acquired him thinking he could hit and is only 2 years removed from that really good season. Im probably really reaching but we’ll see.
