Just Baseball Referenced Jake Bauers for the first time. Yuck. Why is he on the big league roster? Why is he playing every day? Why is he in the 3 hole?

Not sure about the latter parts, but it seems he altered his swing to add some extra HR power the past year or so...sometimes it sticks, sometimes not - but I guess the idea is he's a fringe startable 1B/OF option and bats lefty. We'll see, though.
