Who would have thought that this might be an important series?

I really hope Bush gets back on track, he has not been pitching very well.

Yeah this series will be a real test for us. In years past we would go into a series like this red hot and either get swept or win one. Another series win would be huge.

I can easily recall the last time we had double the losses then wins and the last time we got swept by the Cards. I cant recall the opposite tho. 8)

If Bush can get settled in early he could have a great game against the Pirates anemic offense. We see three lefties in a row this series, which hopefully can get Billy out of his funk.

Bushie today, Vargas tomorrow, Soup on Saturday, and Sheeter on Sunday.

I'll go three out of four.

He was awful last time out but was very good the previous time out. His 1st, 3rd and 5th starts were poor, but his 2nd and 4th were good. So let's hope that pattern continues tonight at least.

I think we'll win tonight...but that Pirates pitching staff has been a nuisance to us in the past. And Jason Bay has killed us.

This will be a good test for us.

Does anyone else see that girl wearing a bikini behind home plate? Can't really tell if she's hot or not, but what the hell?

She needs to flash the camera like that Red Sox chick did a couple years ago.

Yost has perfected the art of wasting base runners. Why pull that **** with Hall at bat?

Yost with more wasted base runners, trying to pull that fake bunt BS when he should have bunted over. 1 run could be the difference in a game like today.

Tone down the bull aggression, Yost. :banghead:

Bush falls apart late.

It's time to start scoring some runs...(looking at Hall and Weeks).

Well my call for run support doesn't look like its going to work for a third game in a row. The only hope we have left is that I believe Torres has blown 3 saves already this year.
