All these good young players on the Brewers aen't going to be here forever. The Brewers wil never be able to afford them all (or most). The time to strike and take some chances is NOW-They can't sit back on Braun any more not with those two clowns they have at 3rd. Ned has to learn to step outside of the Booby Cox School of teaching and be more agressive with this team. He has to stop being every players buddy and worrying about how they will accept a demotion in the batting order or being sat on their a$$es. I'm sick of how he cals everyone SHousEY, and everyone with an EY at the end. Cute Ned, now how about turning this thing around, There's no doubt this team has the talent. They can't afford to wait and be so damn conservative any longer-it's been 25 years for christ sakes!!!!!!!!
If Ned eventually gets fired, no more F'n old Brewer players. Let the Selig days die. Go get the best Coach, don't make it a job requirement to be a former Brewer.

Braun has homered the last two nights and is hitting over .350. What the hell are they waiting for? Of course he won't hit .350 in the majors but he WILL be a huge improvement over what we have now. I agree, we can't squander the opportunity. Next year the Central may not be so weak. Last year we had a chance, St. Louis won the division with 83 wins. But we blew it. We will only get so many chances before our young guys are priced out of our reach.

We'll still have him for 6 years regardless. **** this call him up.

It makes no sense at this point since we can just wait a few more weeks so he won't be a super 2.

What's the point in wasting 6-8 million (probably more considering the increase in salaries) in the future for 2 weeks right now?

I want to win NOW and I'm sick of the black hole at 3rd base. If 6-8 million is going to matter that much then we shouldn't even have a team.

I can't think they would be stupid enough to pay Braun 6-10 million to play for a week to ten days. He's a good player, but he's not worth about a million a game for that time period.
Agreed. I mean look how many rookie pitchers the Yankees used so far. That should cover the 17% right there.
