I'm surprisingly optimistic about the starting rotation, but Duensinger, Graham, and Stauffer look like a weak spot. Get Hamburger in there instead.

So Ervin Santana is suspended for 80 games for a failed drug test, can the twins just void his contract now? I was already thinking the deal was for too much and too long, now if he has been cheating, I really don't want him.

Yeah it would be nice if we could void his contract but, my understanding is that is not possible. If it was possible A-rod would have been voided by the Yankees.

The good thing about the Twins minor system is that the system does have some good young arms down there and that should be able to hold us until Santana gets back.

The bullpens is the biggest question mark that we have. We only have 1 role seetled and that is the closer role with Perkins. Only time would tell if the pieces are the right pieces to get the job done.

It was a tough lose. I was not able to see much of the game, but looking at the stats, Phil did not pitch that bad. Or is the stats not telling the whole tail?

Yeah I wouldn't expect the Hughes of last year.. He should be solid tho. It's going to be a long year, but on the bright side, can't wait for our young guys to come up to the big league club!!

Twins took 2 out of 3 from the Royals.

Only 5 games back from the Tigers .

Who saw the Tigers jumping out to a 8-1 start with the lose of Max (FA) and Justin (injury)? I did not.

So the Twins are above .500, I can't say I saw that coming.

During the off-season, I believed that the Twins would play .500 ball over the course of the season, but not after the terrible start that we had to this season.

Eddie Rosario with a home run on the first major league pitch he ever saw. That was pretty sweet. It was pretty cool to his family celebrate after flying all the way from Puerto Rico.

That is sweet that Eddie hit his first home run on his first pitch in the big league.

Twins are playing great right now. Only 1.5 games back right now, we are coming.

Who called that Mike Pelfrey would be the best SP for the Twins to start the year out?

Crazy part is that the pitching is holding up despite the Santana/Nolasco/Hughes signings being a disaster. Could have outbid for David Price with that money. How sweet would that be?

What is wrong with the Hughes signing?
