Mets name Tom Goodwin as new 1st base coach.

"The Mets today announced Tom Goodwin as first base coach.

Goodwin, 43, finished his fourth year with the Boston Red Sox organization last season and his third as the organization’s Minor League Outfield and Base Running Coordinator. He played 14 seasons in the majors during which he hit .268, while playing outfield for the Royals, Rangers, Rockies, Giants and Cubs. Goodwin tole 50 bases in four different seasons."

I don't know much about, but he sounds like he's been around baseball for a long time. I'm sure he's gonna be working with Lucas Duda on his outfield defense a lot during Spring Training. So, it looks like the Mets coaching staff is set.
