Gotay?

Ruben Gotay was removed from Triple-A New Orleans' starting lineup on Sunday in anticipation he might need to join the Mets if Jose Valentin goes on the disabled list.
Valentin was sent to New York to have his right knee examined after he felt looseness in the ACL. Gotay is hitting .256 for New Orleans.

Well Valentine has an ACL issue which he has has trouble with in the past. SO hes going to take things extra slow with rehab and such. Gotay... come on you guys remember we traded jeff keppinger for him. Had a really good start to spring but his numbers kind of died down. People seem to knock his defensive range but i think it was / is great from what i saw. If not he can just play in the grass like Ronnie Belliards fat self.

I like Gotay. He has adequete Defense and a MUCH better hitter than hernandez.

Said in today's times, Valentin is expected to miss 2-4 weeks. Small tear in his right knee.
